  • Step 1: Before installation, please remove the factory fender liners in preparation for installing our product.HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-6
  • Step 2: If you have purchased our front inner fender liners, please follow the steps below for installation; otherwise, you can disregard the following steps. Due to the inability to install nuts in the side screw holes, you need to manually insert a rivet using a hand riveting tool at the side mounting location.
    • The rivet nut tool instruction: Place the nut or insert into the hole, making sure it fits snugly. Position one end of the hand rivet tool onto the nut or insert, and use the tool’s handle to squeeze and compress it. This will create even pressure around the nut or insert, securing it firmly in place. Once finished, you can thread a bolt or screw into the nut or insert to securely fasten objects together.
    • Required Tools: 13mm Shallow Socket & 13mm Wrench;
    • Notes: If you find that the hole is too small before riveting, you can try the following actions.
    1. If only a minor size adjustment is needed, you can use tools such as a grinder or metal file to carefully trim the hole to fit the selected rivet’s diameter. Ensure not to over-trim to prevent the hole from becoming too large.
    2. Choose a drill bit that is slightly larger than the current hole size, and carefully use an electric drill or hand drill to enlarge the hole. Make sure to work at a low speed and apply gentle pressure to avoid damaging the surrounding material.HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-7
  • Step 3: First, start by installing the 5 screws in the front screw holes. Lift the fender flarer, align it with the body holes, and secure it using M8*25 screws and nuts.HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-8
  • Step 4: Finally, install the two rear mounting holes using M8*25 screws and nuts for each. After completing the installation, tighten all the screws. At this stage, the front fender flare is fully installed.

Driver’s Side Rear Fender Flares Installation:

  • Step 5: Before installation, please remove the factory fender liners in preparation for installing our product.HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-10
  • Step 6: Compare the holes on the car body with your vehicle, and once you locate the corresponding installation holes, refer to the riveting process described in the second step above. Proceed to rivet all the holes using the appropriate rivets.
    • Notes: If you have purchased our rear inner fender liner, you don’t need to rivet the top two holes.HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-11HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-12
  • Step 7: After riveting, the following steps are much simpler. Lift the rear fender flare and secure it with M8*25 screws, then tighten all the screws directly. Excess mounting holes do not need to be installed; simply install according to the instructions provided in the manual.
  • Step 8: After completing the driver side installation, follow the same installation method on the passenger side.HOOKE-ROAD-BXG-2086-6-2-Flat-Tube-Fender-Flares-Kit-fig-13
