BXG.2078-S Doors Roof Rack Basket

Tools required:

a. Drive Socket Ratchet Wrench；
b. 4mm & 5mm Hex Bit Socket;
c. 13mmWrench;

Installation time:

About 1.5 hours, 2-3 people may be needed. Installation time may differ according to your mechanical skill level.

Installation instruction:

Step 1: Assemble the rack on the ground. Start by mounting the short aluminum crossbar into the Front Faring. For this, use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M610), Flat Washer (M6121), Tee Sliding Slot Nuts (M6).
Make sure the machined slot in the rail of the crossbar is facing the front faring.(8) M610 Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws

Step 2: Next, mount the long aluminum crossbars between the two side rails.
For this use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M820), Flat Washer (M8201.5). Make sure the machined slot in the rail of the crossbar is facing up, so that you can easily add t-nuts to mount your gear.(20) M820 Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws

Step 3: Next, mount the front and rear fairings. To do this, use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M820), Flat Washer (M8201.5), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M8). When mounting the front fairing, adjust it all the way up to avoid contact with the roof and leave the bolts loose enough to be able to make adjustments once it is on the roof of the vehicle.4) M820 Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws

10) M8 Flange Hex Lock NutsStep 4: Next, install the Eva Tape into the rear mounting brackets (need cut it by yourself) and snap the Rubber Mat (the covers length is shorter than the inside brackets covers) into the front mounting brackets & the front mounting brackets covers.Step 5: Next, install the front mounting brackets. For this use the Rivet Nut Plate (M8), the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M825), Flat Washer (M8201.5). Don’t tighten up those bolts.

2) M8 Rivet Nut PlateStep 6: Next, install the rear mounting brackets into your vehicle with the factory bolts.Step 7: Next, put the roof rack into your vehicle, Assemble the rear mounting brackets & the roof rack. For this use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M825), Flat Washer (M8201.5).2} M825 Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws

Step 8: Finally, install the the front mounting brackets covers. Please adjust the position of the front mounting bracket first, so that it can be smoothly stuck in the roof rain groove. Install the front mounting bracket cover. Use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M825), Nylon Round Spacer (20207) in the upper hole and the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M825), Flat Washer (M820*1.5) in the side hole.When installing, please screw the upper screw first, and then tighten the upper and lower screws at the same time.
