For the maximum protection and comfort of your child, it is essential that you read through the entire manual carefully and follow all instructions.
Read these instructions carefully. Incorrect Installation of the child restraint system may cause the child serious injury. If used incorrectly, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible. Your child’s safety is your responsibility.
WARNING !
Do not use in seating postions where there is an active frontal airbag installed when child testraint systems rearward facing.
Notice regarding i-Size category Enhanced Child Restraint System (40-105cm)
– This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System.
– It is approved according to UN Regulation No.129, for use in iSize compatiable vehicle seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle users’ manual.
– If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.
This product can be used as an Isize booster seat Enhanced Child Restraint System.
It is approved according to UN Regulation No 129, for use primarily inâ “l-Size seating positions”as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle user’s manual.
If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.
Before using your child seat, make sure to review and familiarize yourself with the features and functions of the child seat by referencing this user manual. Follow the instructions to the letter and keep them for future reference. The instruction manual can be stowed in a handy location on the rear of the backrest of the seat.

  • ECE = European Standard for Child Safety Equipment
    The child safety seat has been designed, tested and approved according to the requirements of the European Standard for Child Safety Equipment (ECE R 129/03). The seal of approval “E” (in a circle) and the approval number are located on the orange approval label (sticker on the child safety seat).
    Coccolle Velsa child safety seat tested and approved according to ECE R129 / 03 stature 40 – 105cm mass limit ≤ 18kg and 100 – 150 cm.
    ATTENTION! This certification will be invalidated if you make any modifications to the child safety seat. Only the manufacturer is permitted to make
    modifications to the child safety seat. Any unauthorized technical changes can cause the protective function of the seat to be reduced or completely eliminated.
    Do not make any technical changes to the child safety seat. Use the Coccolle Velsa exclusively for securing your child in your vehicle. It is in no way suitable for use as a seat or toy in the home. We recommend you to always use this product with the ISOFIX attachment when your vehicle is equipped with it.

Warranty conditions

  1. The warranty does not cover:
    – Damage occurred for reasons attributable to the user.
    – Damage occurred as a result of failure to use the product according to recommendations, warnings and restrictions found in the user manual and onproduct elements.
    – Consumables subject to natural wear and tear during normal usage such as: tyres, inner tubes, tread, materials used on handles, structure and colour of fabrics and materials subject to friction, sleeves in wheels, axels, prints.
    – Damage occurred as a result of failure to observe maintenance guidelines such as: corrosion, changed upholstery or plastic elements colour as a result of prolonged exposure to sunlight, damage to plastic elements of upholstery as a result of prolonged exposure to sunlight or excessive temperatures, excessive play, squeaking / creaking noises, damage to mechanism due to over- load.
    – Damage occurred due to repairs being carried out by unauthorised personnel.
    – Single wheels being pushed into a vertical position as a result of loading (this is normal).
    – Damage and soiling occurred due to the product being incorrectly packaged for shipping (courier online purchases).

  2. The repair method is determined by the manufacturer/warranty service provider.

  3. The product subject to a complaint should be provided clean.

  4. The consumer goods warranty does not exclude or suspend the purchaser’s rights stemming from goods noncompliance with the agreement.

Find the recline handle which is under the seat shell. Pull it, can adjust the backrest angle position. There are 4 adjusting positions for rear facing position,
for children heights from 40 to 105cm. The car seat can be adjusted in 4 position forward facing as well. By iSize standard rule, the car seat must have sufficient recline positions for rear-facing, but only upright position is recommended to be applied for heights ranging from 100 to 150cm.

General instructions

  1. The car seat is for car use only.
  2. The car seat is developed for an intensive use of approximately 10 years.
  3. We advise to check the expanded polystyrene (EPS) parts regularly for damages.

WARNING:
Do not use the seat in the forward facing position with children under 100cm in height.
Keep the child restraint system away from corrosive liquids, paints or solvents that could damage the product.
Coccolle Velsa car seat usability in the vehicle

  1. The child restraint system should be re- placed after an accident, even if there are no visible signs of damage. the product may have unseen nternal damage that could compromise the child’s safety.
  2. Take regular breaks when traveling so the child can get out of the seat and walk about a bit. it is not advisable to travel for more than 2 hours at a time withouttaking a break. this advise is very important for babies.
  3. The straps should never be twisted.The harness buckle must be fastened correctly and the straps should fit the child snugly.
  4. Rotate to side loading position to recline seat. the fabric cover is an essential part of the child restraint system. it must not be replaced by a different cover without prior authorization from the manufacturer.
  5. Do not alter the product by adding or removing any accessory or complement.
  6. Do not leave unsecured luggage or ob- jects on the parcel shelf in the vehicle,because in the event of an accident they could cause serious injury to the occupants.
  7. Cover the seat if it is left in direct sunlight. plastic and metal surfaces get very hot and could burn. the car seat cover is also likely to fade.
  8. The child restraint must not be used without the cover.
  9. Do not allowed that children are not left in their child restraint system unattended.

Cleaning and maintenance instructions

The EPS parts of the headrest and backrest may not be removed.
The plastic parts can be cleaned with neutral detergen or soapy water, with a delicate cloth. Partile din plastic pot fi curatate usor cu un produs neutru(detergent lichid) sau apa cu sapun.
The seat cover can be removed and machine washed, at a short delicate cycle. Do not use harsh detergents or softeners. DO NOT use the car seat without seat cover. The cover should be replaced only with one recommended by the manufacturer.
