DO NOT USE IMPACT TOOLS
Step 1: Locate the driver side step rail.
Step 2: Install the (x6) mounting brackets to each attachment point on
the main tube using the supplied M10x25 carriage bolts, M10 hex nuts and leave
loose for now.
** NOTE:** The brackets will attach to the backside of the mounting flange
with the threaded end of the carriage bolt facing towards the REAR of the
step. ***
Step 3: Remove any steps and old hardware from the vehicle.
Step 4: On the inside rocker panel there will be three-attachment point consisting of three 8mm studs coming out from the panel. These studs may be covered in paint and will need to be cleaned before the installation.
Step 5: An additional person recommended for this step. Carefully install the Hoop step to the three factory attachment points using the provided M8 flanged hex nuts. Leave finger tight for now.
Step
6: Next, adjust the Hoop step level with the body of the cab and tighten all
hardware 30 ft. /lbs.
Step 7: Tighten all brackets at the main tube. ( 20-25 ft./lbs. torque ).
Step
8: Re-peat steps 2-7 for passenger side install.
