Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1. Installation of Brackets:
- Using the supplied (#7)M10 carriage bolt and (#6) M10nut, install the (x4) (#3,#4) brackets to each attachment point on the main tube and leave loose for now.
- NOTE: Brackets will attach to the backside of the mounting flange with the threaded end of the (#7) car-riage bolt (x2) facing towards the rear of the step.
- Using the supplied (#7)M10 carriage bolt and (#6) M10nut, install the (x4) (#3,#4) brackets to each attachment point on the main tube and leave loose for now.
- Step 2. Removal of Factory Running Board/Steps:
- Remove any factory running board/steps and hard-war ane disd card.
- Step 3. Cleaning and Tapping of Factory Threaded Holes:
- Clean and tap factory threaded holes.
- Clean and tap factory threaded holes.
- Step 4. Placement and Fastening of Step:
- Carefully place step into place and loosley fasten using the supplied (#5) M10x25mm hex bolt.
- Step 5. Tightening of Bolts:
- Next, tighten the (x2) lower bolts first following with the (x2) upper bolts. (15-20 ft./lbs. torque).
- Step 6. Tightening of Mounting Brackets:
- Next, tighten the (x2) lower bolts first following with the (x2) upper bolts. (15-20 ft./lbs torque).
- Next, tighten the (x2) lower bolts first following with the (x2) upper bolts. (15-20 ft./lbs torque).
- Step 7. Finish by tightening the (x2) carriage bolt/nut (#7,#6) mounting brackets at the main tube. (20-25 ft./lbs. torque).
- Step 8. Repeat process with passsenger side.
