8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller
Procedure
- Press the home button to turn on the controller.
- Hold the home button for 3 seconds to turn off the controller.
- Hold the home button for 8 seconds to force the controller off.
Product Description
Windows
- Required system: Windows 10(1903) or above.
Wireless Connection
- Turn the mode switch to 2.4G.
- Connect the 2.4G adapter to the USB port of your Windows device.
- Press the Home button to turn on the controller, and the Status LED will remain solid to indicate a successful connection.
Wired Connection
Connect the controller to your Windows device via a USB cable, wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Windows device, and the Status LED will remain solid to indicate a successful connection.
Android
- Required system: Android 9.0 or above.
Bluetooth Connection
- Turn the mode switch to BT, then press the Home button to turn on the controller.
- Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode, the Status LED will start to blink rapidly (This is required for the very first time only).
- Go to your Android device’s Bluetooth settings and turn it on, pair it with [8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless], The status LED will remain solid to indicate a successful connection.
Turbo Function
- D-pad, View, Menu, and Home buttons are not supported.
- The turbo settings will not be saved permanently and will revert to default settings after the controller is powered off or disconnected.
Turbo Mode
- Turn on: Hold the button you would like to assign the turbo functionality, then press the Star button to enable the Turbo Mode, the Mapping indicator will blink rapidly.
- Turn off: Hold the button you would like to deactivate the turbo functionality, then press the Star button to disable the Turbo Mode, the Mapping indicator will turn off.
Auto Turbo Mode
- Turn on: Hold the button you would like to assign the turbo functionality, then press the Star button twice to enable the Turbo Mode, the Mapping indicator will blink rapidly.
- Turn off: Hold the button you would like to deactivate the turbo functionality, then press the Star button to disable the Turbo Mode, the Mapping indicator will turn off.
L4 / R4 Configuration
- The Mapping indicator will blink continuously when the configured button is pressed.Hold the L4 / R4 button + the button you would like to configure, then press the Mapping button to complete the configuration. Repeat the same procedure to cancel the configuration.
Battery
- 32 hours of playtime via Bluetooth and 19 hours via wireless 2.4G connection, with a 480mAh built-in battery pack, rechargeable with 2 hour charging time.

- The controller will automatically shut down if it fails to connect within 1 minute of startup, or if there are no operations within 15 minutes after establishing a connection.
- The controller will not shut down during wired connection.
Safety Warnings
- Please always use batteries, chargers, and accessories provided by the manufacturer.
- The manufacturer is not liable for any safety issues arising from the use of non-manufacturer-approved accessories.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair the device yourself. Unauthorized actions may result in serious injury.
- Avoid crushing, disassembling, puncturing, or attempting to modify the device or its battery, as these actions can be dangerous.
- Any unauthorized changes or modifications to the device will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Repair the Controller and Adapter
If the connection is lost or the adapter needs to be repaired, you can follow the steps below to re-pair the controller with the adapter:
- Turn the mode switch to the PC/2.4G position.
- Press the Home button to turn on the controller.
- Hold the Pairing button for 3 seconds to enter the pairing mode, the LED indicator will blink rapidly.
- Connect the 2.4G adapter to your Windows device.
- Both LED indicators on the controller and receiver will become solid when the connection is successful.
