Use
Open the battery compartment on the receiver and insert 2x AAA batteries. If
it is a wireless model, do the same on the transmitter and set the switch to
ON on the transmitter. Mind the polarity (+/-).
( 40736/40737 ) The transmitter has a LED that flashes every time the
transmitter sends the temperature to the receiver. If the temperature is
unchanged the transmitter sends it every 30 seconds. If the temperature
changes by more than one degree the transmitter sends immediately. Connect the
probe to the transmitter. Insert the probe halfway into the thickest part of
the meat
Features
Press the Light button to light up the display. Press and hold the Light
button to turn off/ on. Press the Mode button to choose food mode or choose
time setting mode. Press the Meat button to cycle to the correct type of meat
Press the Taste button to cycle and choose desired meat temperature type. The
unit will sound when the food reaches the desired type. Press any button to
turn off the sound. Press the Sec (Down sign) to switch between Celsius and
Fahrenheit
40737: Wireless meat thermometer with two probes
Press the Mode button to choose Probe 1 and Probe 2 mode or time setting mode.
Make settings for one probe, and repeat the same procedure forte the second
one.
PROG/PRO-M (Self-Programme)
You can set the desired temperature in PROG/PRO-M mode. Press the MEAT button
to cycle and choose PROG/PRO-M mode. Press the ALERT button to choose the
temperature setting with only the “set” sign showing in the area. Press and
hold the ALERT button to set a temperature with the UP and DOWN button and
press ALERT again to confirm and start. When the setting reaches, the unit
will sound. Press any button to turn off the sound.
Alert function
During PROG/PRO-M mode you can press the ALERT button to set an alert for the highest (HI) and lowest (LO) temperatures. Press and hold the ALERT button to set the HI and LO temperature. Use the Up and Down buttons to choose temperatures and press ALERT to confirm and start. When the setting reaches the set value the unit sounds. Press any button to turn off the sound.
Timer
Press the Mode button to choose the time setting. The meat thermometer has both a timer and a countdown. If no countdown time is set the timer will act as a default. Press the Min and Sec buttons to set a countdown Press the Start/Stop button to start the setting. Press again to pause. Press the Min and Sec buttons at the same time to reset the time. When the countdown timer reaches 0:00 the unit will sound. Press any button to turn off the sound.
Safety information
Only the probe is oven/grill safe. The transmitter and receiver must not be exposed to heat Do not expose any parts to open flames. Exhausted batteries are to be removed and replaced by the correct type of battery. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
