Press an Input source button to choose an input source or a mode.
Specifications
Use
Connect the power adapters to the DC input of the soundbar and the subwoofer and a wall outlet. The indicators on the soundbar and the subwoofer starts to flash when they are powered on. The subwoofer pairs automatically with the soundbar. The indicators turn to a steady light when the pairing is succesful. If the flashing does not stop, press the Pair button on the subwoofer.Connect the soundbar to the TV with either optical cable, HDMI, RCA or AUX cable.
Optical cable
Connect an optical cable to the Optical port on the soundbar and the
Optical out port on your W. Press the “OPT” button on the remote control. The
LED indicator on the soundbar turns white. Set the audio output on the TV to
PCM (see heading “Setting PCM on your TV” for further instructions).
HDMI ARC
Connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the soundbar and the HDMI ARC
port on your TV. Press the “ARC” button on the remote control. The LED
indicator on the soundbar turns green. Set the audio output on the TV to PCM
(see heading “Selecting PCM on your TV” for further instructions).
RCA-3.5 mm
Connect the RCA cable to the RCA port on the soundbar and the headphone
jack on your TV. Press the “RCA” button on the remote control. The LED
indicator on the soundbar turns light blue.
Selecting PCM on your TV
If there is no sound even though the cables are connected properly and the LED indicator light is correct, adjust your TV settings.
- Press the “Menu” button on your TV’s remote control.
- Go to “Audio settings”.
- Select “Advanced audio settings”. If your TV does not have this option, go straight to the next step.
- Select “Audio output mode” or “Digital audio output mode”.
- Select PCM as the current audio output. Press “OK” to save the setting.
Note! This guide may not apply to all TV brands. Check your TV’s manual if you have troubles finding the PCM option.
Connecting to an external device
It is possible to connect the soundbar to an external device such as a gaming console or DVD player. Connect an appropriate cable to the soundbar and the device. Press the corresponding button on the remote. The LED indicator lights up.
Connecting with Bluetooth
Press the “BT” button on the remote control to activate the Bluetooth mode.
The indicator starts to flash blue. Activate Bluetooth on your Bluetooth
device. Look for “Nikabe S2” and connect. The indicator flashes blue slowly
when the connection is successful. Play music from your Bluetooth device and
control the sound with the remote control. Disconnect the Bluetooth device by
pressing and holding the “BT” button on the remote for 2-3 seconds.
Connecting a USB device
Insert a USB device in the USB port on the soundbar. Press the “USB” button
on the remote control. The indicator starts to flash purple. Play music from
the USB device and control the sound with the remote control.
Mounting the soundbar
Insert the screws for wall mounting into the screw holes on the soundbar.
Tighten them with a screwdriver. Place the wall mounting template on your wall
under the TV and mark the bracket holes with a pencil. Be sure to keep the
template straight and leave at least 8 cm between the TV and the template.
Drill holes on your markings in a size that fits the supplied plugs. Insert
the plugs into the holes. Fasten the brackets with the supplied screws. Hook
the screws on the back of the soundbar onto the wall-mounted brackets.
Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing a problem with your soundbar, always make sure that the cables are securely and correctly connected. Always check that the cable is connected to the TV’s output port (not input) and that the power adapter is connected to a working power source. Make sure the LED indicator on the soundbar is on
Safety information
- Read the instructions in the manual and on the soundbar before use to avoid a hazard. Use with provided power adapter only.
- Do not place any open flame sources, such as lit candles, on or near the soundbar. Do not attempt to service or disassemble the soundbar yourself.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
- Unplug the soundbar from power supply during lightning storms.
- Never insert any objects into the soundbar, as you could then touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could lead to fire or electric shock. Make sure that objects do not fall on the soundbar and that liquid is not spilled on the soundbar
