Wiring Uplink’s 5530M Cellular Communicators to DSC Alexor
- Connect the 5530M communicator to the DSC Alexor according to the wiring diagram provided.
- Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
Programming the DSC Alexor Alarm Panel via Keypad
- To enable Contact ID reporting:
- Enter *85555 to enter Programming mode.
- Enter 015 to access the Third System options.
- Toggle Option 7# to disable TLM (Option 7 must be OFF).
- Enter 301 to access the First phone number menu.
- Enter the desired phone number followed by 6 in hex format.
- Continue with Sections 310, 350, 351, 367, 380, and 381 following the provided instructions.
- Program Key-switch zone and output:
- Enter *85555 followed by the provided sequence of actions to program the key-switch zone and output.
- Program the Panel for Upload/Download (UDL):
- Enter *8 + Installer Code 401 to access the programming menu (the default installer code is 5555).
- Adjust settings in Sections 403, 404, 405, and 406 as instructed for UDL functionality.
