Product Usage Instructions

Wiring Uplink’s 5530M Cellular Communicators to DSC Alexor

  1. Connect the 5530M communicator to the DSC Alexor according to the wiring diagram provided.
  2. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

Programming the DSC Alexor Alarm Panel via Keypad

  1. To enable Contact ID reporting:
  2. Enter *85555 to enter Programming mode.
  3. Enter 015 to access the Third System options.
  4. Toggle Option 7# to disable TLM (Option 7 must be OFF).
  5. Enter 301 to access the First phone number menu.
  6. Enter the desired phone number followed by 6 in hex format.
  7. Continue with Sections 310, 350, 351, 367, 380, and 381 following the provided instructions.
  8. Program Key-switch zone and output:
  9. Enter *85555 followed by the provided sequence of actions to program the key-switch zone and output.
  10. Program the Panel for Upload/Download (UDL):
  11. Enter *8 + Installer Code 401 to access the programming menu (the default installer code is 5555).
  12. Adjust settings in Sections 403, 404, 405, and 406 as instructed for UDL functionality.

NEW FEATURE: For 5530M Communicators, the status of the panel can be retrieved not only from the status PGM but now also from the Open/Close reports from the dialler.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Open/Close reporting needs to be enabled during the initial pairing procedure.

Programming the DSC Alexor Alarm Panel via the Keypad

Enable Contact ID reporting:
