Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Inserting the Hard Drive

  1. Ensure that the power of your computer and the enclosure is turned off.
  2. Open the enclosure by sliding the cover or removing any screws.
  3. Insert the SATA hard drive into the enclosure’s connector, making sure it is securely connected.
  4. Close the enclosure by sliding the cover or reattaching any screws.

Step 2: Connecting to a Computer

  1. Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the USB port on the enclosure.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.

Step 3: Powering On

  1. Turn on your computer.
  2. The enclosure will be automatically detected by your computer’s operating system.

Step 4: Data Transfer

  1. Once the enclosure is detected, you can access and manage the files on the hard drive.
  2. Copy, move, or delete files as needed.
  3. Make sure to properly eject the enclosure from your computer before disconnecting it.

Q: What should I do if the hard disk copy is suddenly interrupted?

HOW TO INSTALL

  1. Press the open letters on both ends of the hard disk case and pul out the base of the hard disk case

  2. Align the M.2 SSD with the card slot at the bottom of the hard disk box and insert it into the chassis.

  3. Press down the buckle of the solid-state drive box to clamp the hard disk.

  4. Replace the base of the hard disk box. The installation is complete.

Matters needing attention

The new SSD needs to enter disk management for initialization, otherwise the hard disk cartridge cannot read the hard disk.

  1. Right-click this computer and slect Manage

  2. Open Disk Management, the system will pop up a prompt to initialize the disk

  3. Initialize the disk and select MBR(Master Boot Record), and finally click OK

  4. Right-click the identified empty hard disk, select New Simple Volume, and start partitioning

Drive is Connected but Missing in File Explorer

Open Computer Management –> Storage Disk Management, then right-dick on the disk marked as Offline and select Online on the drop-down menu.

Matters needing attention

  • Equipped with USB3.1 high performance chip, product input transmission speed 10Gbps,Jf connected to USB3.0 interface device, the device transmission rate will be affected.
  • This product adopts standard USB 5V ± 5% power supply, and it will be damaged if it exceeds the standard voltage range, and cause product damage or potential safety hazard.
  • When you need to remove the hard disk, please remove it safely on the computer before disconnecting from the computer. Do not forcibly remove the hard disk box and hard disk, so as to avoid data or disk error, damage or loss.
  • Do not forcibly pull out the hard disk when copying data, so as to avoid file loss or hard disk damage.
  • Please back up the hard disk data in advance before operating the hard disk partition or formatting, the company is not responsible for recovering the data in the hard disk, nor is it responsible for the loss caused by the loss of hard disk data.
