SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not cover this product as the covering may cause the flexible light to overheat, melt, or ignite.
- Do not operate the flexible light while it is tightly coiled. To prevent overheating do not allow contact between flexible light cables and parts of light cables. Maintain at least 12 mm spacing between flexible light cables or parts of light cables.
- Do not puncture, cut, shorten, or splice the flexible lighting.
- Do not route the cord or flexible lighting through walls, doors, windows, or any like part of the building structure.
- Do not use if there is any damage to the light or cord insulation. Inspect periodically.
- Do not submerge flexible light in liquids or use the product in the vicinity of standing water or other liquids.
- Do not install in cabinets, tanks or enclosures of any kind.
- Do not subject flexible lighting to continuous flexing.
- DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF EXTENSIONS OR FLEXIBLE LIGHT LENGTHS PERMITTED BY THE MARKING.
- Do not secure this product or its cord with staples, nails or like means that may damage the insulation or permanently attach to the building structure.
- Follow instructions carefully when splicing flexible light sections or attaching power cords. Ensure that all connections, including the end cap on the last segment are properly installed with dielectric grease and shrink tube to preclude the entrance of water (outdoor applications).
- Do not subject flexible lighting to continuous flexing.
- The product may not be used in explosive atmospheres.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons, make sure that the electrical power to the fixture is disconnected at the source prior to installation or any servicing.

This can also be done by handing over the used device to a returns center, which will dispose of it in accordance with national commercial and industrial waste management legislation. This does not apply to the accessories and auxiliary equipment without any electrical components which are inclu ded with the used device.
