KSE-LIGHTS KS-8800 LED Flashlight
Product Information
The KS-8800 is a flashlight designed for hazardous locations. It features a Cree LED, high and low modes, and a non-slip handle. The flashlight is intrinsically safe and certified for use in Class I Div 1 Grp ABCD / Class II Div 1 Grp EFG Class III / Temperature Code T4 IP6X environments. The casing is tough and durable with a high impact lens and built-in gas release vent.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read the user manual before using the flashlight and maintain it for reference.
- Use only the following battery types:
- Alkaline Type: Energizer E91, Duracell MN1500, Rayovac 815, Ansmann 5015548, Ansmann 1502-0002
- NiMH Type: Energizer NH15-2300
- To operate, push the rear button. The sequence is the high and low mode.
- Clean the flashlight only with a damp cloth to avoid static electricity.
- Do not flash the light beam directly into human’s eyes.
- Always use the flashlight by following regular and legal rules governed by industrial control and management authority in every country.
- To reduce the risk of explosion, do not mix new batteries or mix batteries from different manufacturers or types.
- Do not charge NiMH batteries in the flashlight. Charge the NiMH batteries according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Remove the batteries when unused for a period of time to prevent battery leakage in the device.
- Secure the screw tightly after replacing the batteries.
- Install the batteries in the correct assembly. When re-inserting the reflector set, gently insert it into the groove and fit it well. Do not over-force on it. Close the flashlight by screwing the cap right to the end of the screw thread.

Installation
Operation
Push rear button to operate. The sequence is the high and low mode.
Safety Warnings
- The screw shall be secured tightly after opening and closing of the enclosure.
- Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
- Clean the flashlight only with damp cloth to avoid static electricity.
- Do not flash the light beam directly into human’s eyes.
- Always use this flashlight by following regular and legal rules governed by industrial control and management authority from every country.
Change of batteries
Warning – Replace batteries only in non-hazardous areas.
Please unscrew the front cap, please do not directly touch inside heat sink
set, it might be a bit hot after long time using, remove the cap, remove the
reflector with LED inserted, avoiding touching inside surface of reflector, it
might affect the performance of lighting. Always using proper batteries to go
with KS-8800, do not use mixed brands. Always replace all batteries at the
same time, filling new batteries in corresponding to (+) positive and (-)
negative mark sticker inside of battery case by following rules to batteries:
- Use only battery type of Energizer E91 or Duracell MN1500 or Rayovac 815 or Ansmann 5015548 or Ansmann 1502-0002 or Energizer NH-15-2300.
- To reduce the risk of explosion do not mix new batteries, or mix batteries from different manufacturers or from different types.
- Do not charge NiMH batteries in the flashlight. Charge the NiMH batteries according to the manufacturer‘s specification.
- Remove the batteries when unused for a period of time to prevent battery leakage in the device.

with smart design, please gently insert it, it could slowly slide into groove
and fit it well, please do not over-force on it. Closing the flashlight by
screwing the cap right to end of the screw thread.
