DESCRIPTION

Easy-to-use garden pump suitable for distribution of fresh water and watering because it is designed for continuous operation. In addition to the pump, there is a 4 m suction hose with a bottom/water filter, plus an adapter/quick coupling for a garden hose.

USE

PREREQUISITES

  • The product must be connected to a correctly installed earthed power point with a residual current device that has a maximum tripping current of 30 mA.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • The product must be connected to a mains with a residual current device of a max of 30 mA for use in a pool or garden.
  • If the product is used outdoors, only use an extension cord approved for outdoor use. The product must not be put in water.
  • If an extension cord is used the cross-sectional area of the wires must be dimensioned for the power supply to the product. If an extension cord is used on a reel, pull out the full length of the cord.

COMMISSIONING

  • For permanent installation, secure the product to the surface with four screws. Use suitable screws to hold the product in place.
  • If the product is used for a pond or pool it should be installed in such a way as to prevent overflowing, and so that it cannot drop.
  • The product should be protected from the weather. If the product is installed indoors the floor should be water-resistant or provided with a floor drain.
  • Always check before use that the suction tube is airtight. Foam can accumulate in the suction hose if there is leakage, which will prevent the product from working properly.

WARNING!
The suction tube should be installed so that it is not subjected to mechanical stress. Fit a suitable filter if the pumped water is contaminated or turbid.

NOTE:
It is recommended to install a non-return valve to prevent return flow, which can cause the water in the product and the suction tube to empty when the product is not running.

• All the connections to the pump must be sealed to reduce the risk of air penetrating into the system.
• Threads on metal pipes must be sealed with jointing tape.
• All parts of the suction tube should be installed by qualified personnel.
• The inner diameter of the suction tube should be at least 25 mm. The suction tube should be made of material that does not squeeze at pressure and which is resistant to bending.
• The pump’s suction tube should be as short as possible – long suction tubes reduce the capacity of the pump.
• The suction tube should run upwards all the way to the pump, to avoid air becoming stationary in the tube.
• Make sure that the inlet on the suction tube is always covered with water.
• All parts of the outlet tube should be pressure resistant.
• All parts of the outlet tube should be installed by qualified personnel.

HOW TO USE
The product can be installed in a piping system that supplies domestic water. In such cases the product should be connected to the piping system with a flexible hose, to avoid
transmitting vibrations to the piping system.

WARNING!

  • Risk of personal injury. If components are used that cannot withstand the pressure, or if the installation is not carried out correctly, the outlet tube can burst and spray out water, which can cause personal injury and/or material damage.
  • Electrical safety. Do not use the product in damp areas.

NOTE:
The product is not intended for transporting drinking water, only to transport water for a toilet or washing machine.
