SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The battery charger is only intended for use indoors in dry, well ventilated areas.
- Never attempt to charge nonchargeable batteries.
- Never attempt to charge batteries not intended to be used with this charger.
- If the battery charger’s power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service centre to prevent the risk of electric shock.
- The battery charger is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorders, or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it, unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the appliance by someone who is responsible for their safety.
- Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the battery charger.
- Unplug the plug from the power point before inserting or removing the battery.
- Never leave the battery charger unattended when switched on – risk of fire and electric shock.
- Protect the battery charger from moisture.
- Never immerse the battery charger in water or any other liquid, or use it where there is a risk of it being exposed to water, or falling into water.
- WARNING! Explosive gas. Avoid sparks and naked flames. Make sure there is adequate ventilation when using the battery charger.
- Connect the battery charger to an easily accessible power point nearby.
- The battery charger is only intended for household use, not for commercial use.

DESCRIPTION
Battery charger for Meec Tools Multispecies 12 V batteries. Charges 2 Ah in 5 hours and has charge indicator to show when the battery is fully charged.
USE
PREPARATIONS **

Remove the packaging material and loose parts from the product.
Check the accessories before use. Only use accessories that fit the product
and are suitable for the task.
Charge the battery before using it for the first time.
BATTERY CHARGER
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type
plate.
Check before using the charger that the power cord and plug are intact and
undamaged.
A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre
or other qualified personnel.
Do not expose the battery charger to moisture, or use it in damp conditions.
The charger must only be used to charge the supplied batteries.
BATTERY CHARGING
Always connect the charger to the battery first, and then to the power point.
The battery and charger get hot when charging. This is perfectly normal.
After charging, pull out the plug first and then remove the battery from the
charger.

NOTE:

The charger must only be used for charging rechargeable batteries.
Do not expose the charger to rain or moisture.
MAINTENANCE
Always remove the battery before doing any maintenance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the charger at regular intervals. Keep the ventilation openings clean. Clean the casing with a damp cloth, without solvent, and wipe dry.
IMPORTANT:
Switch off the charger immediately and pull out the plug if there is a problem
during use. Check and if necessary have the charger repaired before using it
again. Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
There is a risk of personal injury if unqualified persons carry out service or
maintenance.
Only use approved spare parts and accessories for servicing.
IMPORTANT:
Only use the supplied charger.
NOTE:
The battery capacity is reduced during long-term storage.
To maintain the battery capacity it should be fully charged before long-term
storage and then recharged at regular intervals. Store in a dry place and
frost-free place at no more than 40°C.
STORAGE
Store the product, instructions and any accessories in the original packaging.
In this way you always have all the information and all the parts easily
accessible.
Use the original packaging or other suitable protection during transport.
Store the product in a dry place.
