Installation

  1. Refer to the vehicle’s shop manual for specific service procedures.
  2. Disconnect the window regulator from the door and disconnect the wiring harness from the window lift motor.
  3. Remove the window regulator assembly.
  4. Unbolt the window lift motor from the window regulator.
  5. Reconnect the window lift motor to the wiring harness while disconnected from the window regulator.
  6. Using the switch, manually hold the window switch in the up position for 5 seconds (be cautious not to trigger the auto-up feature).
  7. Reinstall the motor onto the window regulator and then reinstall the window regulator assembly.

Reset Procedure

  1. Unbolt the window regulator from the door and disconnect the wiring harness from the window lift motor.

  2. Remove window regulator assembly.

  3. Unbolt the window lift motor from the window regulator.

  4. With the window lift motor disconnected from the window regulator, reconnect the window lift motor to the wiring harness.

  5. With the window lift motor connected to the wiring harness, using the switch MANUALLY holds the window switch in the up position for 5 seconds.
    (NOTE: Do not pull the switch fully back this will cause the auto-up feature to kick in, which will result in the internal limit switch not fully being activated.)

  6.  Reinstall the motor onto the window regulator and reinstall the window regulator assembly.
