Product Information

The product is a wall luminaire called “Wandleuchte Wall luminaire Applique.” It is a shielded wall luminaire with directed light, making it well-suited for installation on columns and wall faces. It has a module designation of 33 513 and comes in two variants: K3 and K4.

  • The module connected wattage for the K3 variant is 2 W, while the K4 variant has a module connected wattage of 2.7 W. The rated temperature for both variants is between 25 and 60 degrees Celsius. The ambient temperature should also be within this range.

The light from this luminaire is directed evenly and efficiently onto the surface to be illuminated. It emits less than 1% of the luminaire luminous flux into the upper halfspace of the luminaire, making it comply with Dark Sky guidelines.

Safety

The installation and operation of this luminaire should follow national safety regulations and be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage caused by improper use or installation. If modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications is considered the manufacturer.

Overvoltage protection

The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547. Additional overvoltage protection components are recommended for further protection. These components can be found on the manufacturer’s website.

Installation

  • During installation or relamping, it is important to avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly as they are high-quality electronic components.
  • LED are high-quality electronic components!
  • Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
  • In outdoor areas, the light emission may only be directed downwards.
  • Undo screw and lift off luminaire top.
  • Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base.
  • Note position of application of the luminaire“arrow down”.
  • Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
  • Be sure to use the gasket rings supplied.
  • Make earth conductor connection.
  • Push silicone sleeves over the lines and make electrical connection.
  • Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly.
  • Make earth conductor connection between luminaire top and luminaire base.
  • Install the luminaire top, press-on and tighten screw.

Spares for the product include an LED power supply unit, LED modules with colour temperatures of 3000 K and 4000 K, and a gasket. The corresponding part numbers are DEV-0292/350, LED-0305/830, LED-0305/840, and 83 001 386.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the installation and operation of the luminaire comply with national safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician should carry out the installation and commissioning.
  2. To protect against overvoltage, it is recommended to use additional overvoltage protection components. These can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
  3. During installation or relamping, avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly to prevent damage to the high-quality electronic components.

Cleaning · Maintenance

Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt and deposits. Do not use high pressure cleaners

Replacing the LED module

  • The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
  • The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
  • The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
  • Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
  • Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
  • Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets.
  • Defective glass must be replaced.
  • Close the luminaire.
