Instructions for Assembling your New Ultimax Bed Frame

Hardware Included

4 carriage bolts 5⁄16’’ x 3/4’’ 4 nuts 5⁄16’’
2 angle protectors 1 1/2’’
4 bolts 1/4’’ x 2 1/2’’
2 bolts 1/4’’ x 1/2’’
6 nuts 1/4’’
6 washers

If installing a headboard

4 bolts 1/4’’ x 2 1/2’’
4 nuts 1/4’’
4 washers

INSTALLATION

Spread out riveted head and foot bars to form a 90° angle with long side bars.
Insert rollers or legs.
Join both halves of head support, and both halves of foot support, according to box spring format, using keylock assembly system (for the 1000-1100 Ultimax)
Install centre support from head to toe, using 5⁄16 ” x ¾” carriage bolts and nuts to attach, without tightening.
Install box spring on bed frame. Make final width adjustment, and tighten bolts.
Install angle protectors at extremities.
If installing a headboard, use 1⁄4” x 2 1⁄2” bolts, washers and screws to attach it to the bed frame. If installing a footboard, use 1⁄4” x 1⁄2” bolts, washers and screws to attach the footboard extension. Then, use 1⁄4” x 2 1⁄2” bolts, washers and screws to attach it to the bed frame. Adjust and tighten bolts.
