JONATHAN Y JYL7617F LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Fixture
Product Information
This product is a lighting fixture with the model number JYL7617A/JYL7617B/JYL7617C/JYL7617D/JYL7617E/JYL7617F/JYL7617G. It has dimensions of 14” in diameter and 9.5” in height.
The package includes the following parts:
- Mounting bracket (1x)
- Ground screw (1x)
- Machine screw (4x)
- Wire connector (3x)
- Canopy (1x)
- Shade (1x)
- Fixed loop (1x)
- Bulb (1x)
Please note that this product should be installed by a licensed electrician.
The main electrical supply must be switched off from the main fuse box/circuit
breaker before installation. Carefully inspect the item before attempting to
install it. If there is any damage or obvious defect, do not install it, as
the item cannot be returned once it has been installed.
For safe use and installation, please follow the provided guidelines and
important safety instructions.
Product Usage Instructions

Before starting the assembly, ensure that all parts are present. Compare the parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not proceed with the assembly.

Fix the mounting bracket (A) to the outlet box using machine screw (C).

Make wire connections using wire connectors (E) according to the reference chart provided:

Connect the Hot, Black, or Red Outlet Supply Wire to the Black
Parallel Cord (round & smooth). -
Connect the Neutral, White Outlet Supply Wire to the White Parallel Cord (square & ridged).

Connect the Clear, Brown, Gold, or Black without Tracer (colored stripes) to the Insulated Wire (not green) with a copper metal conductor.

Connect the Clear, Brown, Gold, or Black Tracer (colored stripes) to the Insulated Wire (not green) with a Silver metal conductor.

Grounding Instructions:
- a) For installation in the United States: Wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw (B) on the mounting bracket, at least 2 inches from the wire end. Tighten the ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect it to the outlet ground wire using a wire connector.
- b) For installation in Canada: If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, wrap the ground wire around the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket and tighten the ground screw.

Fix the canopy (F) to the mounting bracket (A) using the machine screw (D).

Pass the shade (H) through the lampholder (G) and secure it with the fixed loop (I).

Install the bulb (J). Ensure that you use a light bulb with a wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always turn off the electrical current before changing bulbs.

Please use glue to seal the backplate after fixing the sconce.

Use a Type A bulb with a maximum wattage of 60 watts, a CFL bulb with a maximum wattage of 13 watts, or an LED bulb with a wattage of 9 watts. There is one 4-watt LED bulb included in the box.

WARNING SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE
BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR
OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL. ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN
INSTALLED.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.
- To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slighly damperned clean clorth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
Do not use any cleaners with chemical, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

- Please make sure that you have all parts indicated before you begin assembly of this item
- This item should be assembled on a soft surface to prevent scratching the finish during assembly
- To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property, please follow the guideline below for safe use and installation
- The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced
- If the cord is damaged, the lamp shall be destroyed

PREPARATION
- Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present.

Estimated Assembly Time: 20 minutes
- Fix the mounting bracket(A) to the outlet box with machine screw(C).
- Make wire connections, with wire connectors(E), following the reference chart listed below.

- Put the shade(H) through the lamphoulder(G), then secure it with fixed loop(I)
- Install bulb(J). Be sure to use light bulb(s) with wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make sure that electrical current is turned off before changing bulbs.
- WARNING：Please use glue to seal the backplat after sconce fixed.
