Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture that requires installation by a licensed electrician. The item comes with a mounting bracket (A), green ground screw (B), outlet box screw (C), wire nut (D), plain washer (J), sleeves (K, O), longer stem (L), fixture body (M), canopy unit (E), shorter stem (N), 6 rods (F), 12 rods (G), knurled nut (H), metal cup (I), decorative finial (P), and light bulb (Q). The product dimensions are 27.25W x34-64H.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Switch off the main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker before installation.
2. Inspect the item carefully before attempting to install it. If there is any damage or obvious defect, do not install it. The item may not be returned once it has been installed.
3. Make sure that you have all parts indicated before you begin assembly of this item. The estimated assembly time is 20 minutes.
4. Attach the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box with the outlet box screw (C).
5. Spread the arms on the fixture body (M) and adjust them to a proper position.
6. Raise the long stem (L) thread to the fixture body (M), then install the sleeves (K), plain washer (J), and metal cup (I). Finally, secure with knurled nut (H).
7. Connect the hot, black or red outlet supply wire to the parallel cord (round & smooth) and connect the neutral, white outlet supply wire to the parallel cord (square & ridged). Connect the clear, brown, gold or black without tracer (colored stripes) and clear, brown, gold or black with tracer (colored stripes) insulated wires (not green) with copper metal conductor and silver metal conductor, respectively.
8. For installation in the United States, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw (B) on the mounting bracket, no less than 2 from the wire end. Tighten the ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect it to the outlet ground wire with a wire nut. For installation in Canada, if the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, wrap the ground wire around the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket and tighten the ground screw.
9. Connect the 12 rods and 6 rods together, lock them to the knurled nut (H), attach the swivel (E1) to the 6 rods (F), then connect wires.
10. Raise the canopy unit (E) thread to the outlet box screws, and secure with canopy nut (R).
11. Raise the short stem (N) thread to the fixture body (M) then install the sleeves (O), secure with a decorative finial (P).
12. Install the light bulb (Q) to the socket.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.
• To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect the power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
• Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated Assembly Time: 20 minutes.

1. Attach the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box with the outlet box screw (C).
2. Spread the arms on the fixture body (M), adjust them to a proper position.
3. Raise the long stem (L) thread to the fixture body (M), then install the sleeves (K), plain washer (J), and metal cup (I), finally secure with knurled nut (H).

Note: When parallel wire ( SPT I & SPT II ) is used. The neutral wire is square shaped and ridged and the hot wire will be round in shape and smooth. ( See Illustration on left. )
Grounding Instructions

  * For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw(B) on mounting bracket, no less than 2″ from wire end. Tighten ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to outlet ground wire with a wire nut.
  * For installation in Canada: If fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap the ground wire around the green grounding screw on mounting bracket. Tighten ground screw.

4. Connect the 12″ rod and 6″ rod together, lock it to the knurled nut (H), attach the swivel (E1) to the 6″ rod (F), then connect wires.
5. Raise the canopy unit (E) thread to the outlet box screws, and secure with canopy nut (R).
6. Raise the short stem (N) thread to the fixture body (M)， then install the sleeves (O), secure with a decorative finial (P).
7. Install the light bulb (Q) to the socket.
