Product Information

The JYL1306A is a lighting fixture that requires installation by a licensed electrician. The installation process involves switching off the main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker before installation. The product comes with a mounting plate, canopy, machine screws, ground screw, wire connectors, and bulbs. The model dimensions are 34L X 12W X 17.75H. The estimated assembly time is 20 minutes.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Inspect the item carefully before attempting to install it. If there is any damage or obvious defect, do not install it.
2. Thread mounting screws (A) into the match holes of the mounting plate (B), then fix the mounting plate (B) to the outlet box with machine screw (C).
3. Loosen the hex nut of the canopy (F), and separate the swivel from the canopy (F).
4. Connect the tubes (H) together to get the desired length and fix the bottom end to the nipple of the body (I), and the top end to the swivel of the canopy (F).
5. Place the swivel onto the canopy (F), then secure it with the hex nut.
6. Make wire connections, with wire connectors (E), following the reference chart listed in the manual.
7. Orient the ceiling canopy (F) so that the mounting screws (A) protruding from the mounting plate (B) go into the holes in the canopy (F), then secure it with the provided screwed balls (G).
8. Install bulb (J). Be sure to use light bulb(s) with wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make sure that the electrical current is turned off before changing bulbs.

Note that the product cannot be returned once it has been installed. The fixture requires an on/off type A bulb max 40-watt or LED bulb max 9-watt. There are LED 4-pcs 4-watt bulbs included in the box.

• WARNING SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
• INSPECT THE ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL. ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.
• To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect the power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
• Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced If the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed

PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.

Estimated Assembly Time: 20 minutes.

1. Thread mounting screws (A) into the match holes of the mounting plate(B), then fix the mounting plate(B) to the outlet box with machine screw(C).

2. Loosen the hex nut of the canopy (F) , and separate swivel from the canopy(F).

3. connect the tubes(H) together to get the desired length and fix the bottom end to the nipple of the body (I), and the top end to the swivel of the canopy (F).

4. Place the swivel onto the canopy (F), then secure it with the hex nut.

5. Make wire connections, with wire connectors(E), following the reference chart listed below.
   Note : When parallel wire ( SPT I & SPT II ) is used. The neutral wire is square shaped and ridged and the hot wire will be round in shape and smooth. ( See Illustration on left. )
   Grounding Instructions:

6. For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from the outlet box around green ground screw(D) on the mounting plate, no less than 2″ from the wire end. Tighten the ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to the outlet ground wire with a wire connector.

7. For installation in Canada: If the fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap ground wire around the green grounding screw on the mounting plate. Tighten the ground screw.

8. Orient the ceiling canopy(F) so that the mounting screws(A) protruding from the mounting plate (B) go into the holes in the canopy (F), then secure it with the provided screwed balls(G).

9. Install bulb(J). Be sure to use light bulb(s) with wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make sure that the electrical current is turned off before changing bulbs
