Unpacking Instructions

Carefully unpack the product immediately and check the content to make sure all the parts are in the package and are in good condition. If the box or the contents (the product and included accessories) appear damaged from shipping, or show signs of mishandling, notify the carrier or dealer/seller immediately. In addition, keep the box and contents for inspection.

Symbols Meaning

The symbol is used to indicate that some hazardous live terminals are involved within this apparatus, even under the normal operating conditions, which may be sufficient to constitute the risk of electric shock or death.
The symbol is used to describe important installation or configuration problems. Not following advice and information on how to avoid such problems may lead to product malfunction.
Caution! This symbol indicates high temperature parts! In particular, the nozzle of the Zephyr Bubble 300 can cause burns. Pay attention to high temperatures and avoid touching the nozzle.
This symbol indicates a protective grounding terminal.

WARNING: Describes precautions that should be observed to prevent the danger of injury or death to the operator.
To protect the environment, please try to recycle packing material and exhausted consumables as much as possible.
Warning of Moisture Prevention: it reminds the operator to keep the machine and controller dry. Do not use them on rainy and snowy days.
Don’t throw this product away just as general trash, please deal with the product following the abandon electronic product regulation in your country.

Safety Notes

Please read the following Safety Notes carefully before working with the product.
They include important safety information about installation, usage, and maintenance.

1. Personal Safety

  • Always connect the product to a grounded circuit to avoid the risk of electric shock. During heating up and operation, the housing will get hot: do not touch.
  • The product is very hot during operation and it remains hot for a long time after operation has stopped. Do not touch the product’s nozzle.
  • Make sure that children, unauthorized people and animals do not have access to the machine.
  • The operation noise is without harm to ear. No need to wear ear protection when close to the working machine.

2. Mounting

  • The product is for indoor use therefore, in order to prevent risk of fire or shock, do not expose it to rain or moisture.
    CAUTION: When transferring product from extreme temperature environments, (e.g. cold truck to warm humid ballroom) condensation may form on the internal electronics of the product. To avoid causing a failure, allow product to fully acclimate to the surrounding environment before connecting it to power.

  • Do not use in a confined space. Always install the product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces.

  • Be sure that no ventilation slots on the product’s housing are blocked.

3. Power and Wiring

  • Always make sure that the voltage of the outlet to which you are connecting the product is within the range stated in paragraph “7 – Specification” on page 11 or rear panel of the product (AC220V- 50/60Hz).

  • Make sure the power cord is not crimped or damaged. Never connect this product to a dimmer pack or rheostat.

  • Never disconnect the product from power cord by pulling or tugging on the cord.

  • To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of nonuse completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or
    by unplugging it.

  • To avoid electric shock, all fixtures must be connected to circuits with a suitable ground.

4. Water / Moisture

• The unit should be protected from moisture and rain, and can not be used near water; (for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.)

5. Heat

  • The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
    Don not use it when maximum ambient temperature is higher than 50°C. Work temperature ranges from -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F).

6. Fuse

  • To avoid the risk of fire and damage to the unit, use only the type of fuse described in “7 – Specification” on page 11. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the device is switched off and unplugged.

7. Servicing

  • Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel only. The internal components of the equipment must be purchased from the manufacturer. Only use accessories/attachments or parts recommended by the manufacturer.

INTRODUCTION

It is well known how the world of show business and entertainment is based on the fusion of music, images, lights and environmental effects. The sensory involvement of those who enjoy the entertainment event is increasingly present nowadays.
Cent light knows very well this need and thanks to the Zephyr line it offers a wide range of machines for smoke, fog, bubbles, snow and more. Zephyr Bubble 300 is a 300 Watt double bubble machine. This machine is equipped with a small radio control that allows the use of the machine without con-nesting cables thanks to the built-in reception card.
It has a power output of 300W and is able to generate 2400 bubbles/min covering roughly a 40m² area, thanks to its 2 Front Fans, and 2 Bubble Wheels (60rpm) with 20 Bubble Wand so that the machine becomes an important part in the stage effects setup.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Mains Power & Fuse

Power Inlet (1) – In case of loss or replacement of the cable, refer to the following table which shows the correspondence of the internal wires:

The earth must to be connected! Pay attention to the safety! Before taking into operation for the first time, the installation has to be approved by an expert.
Fuse Holder (2) – In case you need to replace the fuse, make sure that the appliance is switched off, disconnect the input power plug, and remove the fuse holder cover with a screwdriver.
CAUTION: Replace the fuse ONLY with one of the same type indicated in the section “7 – Specification” on page 11 (T10A/250V – 5×20 mm). A lower value fuse would blow immediately after the first power on; a higher value would not act as a fuse in case of anomalous current absorption or short circuit.
WARNING: Always connect the product to a protected circuit (with circuit breaker). Make sure the machine has an appropriate electrical ground to
avoid the risk of electric shock or fire.
WARNING: Never connect the Zephyr Bubble 300 to a rheostat (variable resistor) or dimmer circuit, even if the rheostat or dimmer channel serves only as a 0 to 100 % switch.

SETTING UP

Keep Zephiro Bubble 300 in horizontal position, do not tilt or flip. Before connecting this unit to mains, fill in the tray with fluid. Always use water- based bubble fluid and check that nozzle is clean and unobstructed.
Before connecting to power, check whether mains voltage is suitable for the unit or not.
Power cord should be plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Once connected, turn ON the Manual Mode Switch , then the bubble machine starts the bubbles emission.

Control Mode

Zephiro Bubble 300 can be operated using a wireless controller.

1) Wireless remote control
Turn ON the Wireless Mode Switch on the rear panel and then press A or B button to emit bubbles. By pressing them for long, you can have bubbles for long time. By releasing buttons, the machine stops the bubbles emission.

2) Wireless Remote Battery Replacement
If the remote control cannot work (red LED does not light and machine does not operate), please check whether battery is low and needs to be replaced. To change the battery, remove the cover on the back of the remote control and replace the old battery with one of the same type (23A – 12V).
ATTENTION: Pay attention to respect the polarity. The two ends of the battery have a “+” (positive pole) and a “-” (negative pole) respectively. These marks are also present inside the battery compartment. Make sure the “+” of the battery is towards the “+” indicated in the battery compartment.

CORRECT USE AND MAINTENANCE

This bubble machine should be used in dry and well-ventilated place . Please avoid any water or rain fall in the machines, if water and rain fall in, turn off the power immediately. Keep far away from children, fire, explosive and flammable things, and avoid scalding.

NOTE: In the first time use, some liquid might spray out. This is normal.

  • The bubble machine should work under professional operator’s supervision.
  • When you don’t use the machine for a long time or after use, please disconnect power or unplug the power cable. After using, please wipe out the liquid in the tray.
  • In case of a serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately. Never try to repair the unit by yourself. Repairs carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage or malfunction. Please contact the nearest authorized technical assistance center Always use the same type of spare parts.
  • Never connect the device to a dimmer pack.
  • Make sure the power cable is never crimped or damaged and never disconnect it by pulling or tugging on the cable.

Routine Maintenance And Common Faults

ATTENTION: Periodically clean your machine to reduce replacement parts and repair expenses.

  • Use and environment are factors that contribute to determining the frequency of cleaning. As a general rule, fixtures should be cleaned after each use to avoid dust build-up and blockages, which can result in poor performances, overheating and breakages. Be sure to power off the  machine before conducting maintenance.
  • Unplug fixture from power. Use a vacuum or air compressor and a soft brush to remove dust collected on external vents and internal  components. Clean the external case with a dry cloth or tissue, and drag dirt and grime to the outside.
  • To ensure a continuing high performance, it is recommended to use warm water to clean the internal tank.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

All Cent light products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty starts from the date of purchase, as shown on your purchase receipt. The following cases/components are not covered by this warranty:

  • Any accessories supplied with the product
  • Improper use
  • Fault due to wear and tear
  • Any modification of the product effected by the user or a third party

Cento light shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing faults free of charge at Cento light’s discretion either by repairing or exchanging individual parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a warranty claim shall become the property of Centolight.
While under warranty, defective products may be returned to your local Centolight dealer together with the original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the original packaging if available. Alternatively, you can send the product to Centolight SERVICE CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari, 10 – 62017 Porto Recant – Italy. In order to send a product to service center, you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the product.
