Important! Read the user instructions carefully before use. Save them for
future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The machine is only intended to be used outdoors.
- The user is responsible for the safety of third parties when the machine is in use.
- Persons not familiar with the operating instructions, children, and young persons below the age limit to use the machine, including persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication, must not be allowed to use the machine.
- The machine must only be used for its intended purpose.
- Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the machine when in use.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds with the information on the type plate before plugging the plug into a power point.
- Always keep a firm footing, especially on slopes.
- The rotor must be able to rotate freely when the machine is started.
- Keep your hands and feet away from rotating parts. Risk of injury.
- Always make sure the extension cord is laid safely.
- Always check if the machine has been damaged after contact with foreign objects. Make sure that any damage is repaired before starting the machine again to continue working.
- If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, switch off the motor and check why. Vibrations normally indicate that there is a fault.
- Switch off the machine, pull out the plug, and wait until the rotor has completely stopped before carry out maintenance and/or cleaning. Watch out: The rotor does not stop immediately when the machine is switched off.
- It is not permitted to move or modify the electrical or mechanical safety devices.
General safety instructions

The snowblower is only intended to be used to clear away snow:
– On paving and areas around houses and gardens.
– In accordance with the descriptions and safety instructions in these operating instructions. -
The warranty will be invalidated if the machine is used as it is not intended to be used, or modified.

The user is responsible for personal injury or material damage to third parties resulting from the use of the machine.

All users must carefully read the operating instructions before using the machine for the first time. Follow the operating instructions and save them for future reference, or for a new owner of the machine.

Persons using the machine must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.

Do not allow persons under 16 to use the machine (the age limit can vary according to local regulations).

Never use the machine indoors. It must only be used outdoors. Paths with a roof or high walls must only be cleared if this can be done without risk. Prevent material damage and personal injury by paying special attention to windows and other persons nearby.

Never point the snow ejector towards other people.

Do not use the snowblower near glass, vehicles, windows etc. without adjusting the snow ejector to the correct angle.

Wear gloves, safety glasses, tightly fitting winter clothing and sturdy shoes with non-slip soles when using or maintaining the machine.

Keep your body and clothing away from the rotating parts on the machine.

Only use the machine in good light. Always keep a firm grip on the machine with the handle.
Special safety instructions

Avoid slipping or falling, especially on slopes, by working carefully.

Connect the machine to the voltage specified on the type plate for electrical data. If the machine is run with a voltage higher than the specified rated voltage the motor can overheat.

During checks, repairs, cleaning and removing or replacing parts the machine must be switched off and the power cord unplugged from the mains. This type of work must only be started when the rotating parts have stopped.

Before using the machine for the first time, or after replacing parts, carry out a test run. Prevent damage and accidents by checking for abnormal noise.

Do not transport the machine with the plug connected and the power switch activated.

Because the machine makes a lot of noise, observe local laws and regulations when working. Work at times when other people will not be disturbed by the noise.

Avoid falling by paying attention to the ground and snow conditions.

Never touch moving parts. Keep your hands, fingers, feet and other parts of your body away from rotating parts and the snow ejector.

If the machine tips over, check it for damage and cracks.

Avoid the risk of falling by watching out for obstacles behind your feet when reversing.

Switch off the machine and unplug the plug in the event of strange or abnormal noise. Contact your dealer.

Do not put the machine into storage when it is still connected to the mains.

This can result in material damage or personal injury.

Make sure that no one goes in front of the machine before or during the work.

Prevent electric shock by only using cables suitable for outdoor use.

Make sure not to damage the extension cable while working.

If the snowblower runs into an object, do as follows:
– Switch off the machine and unplug it.
– Check the machine for damage. -
Make sure that any damage is repaired before starting the machine again to continue working.

Keep your hands away from moving parts. Switch off the motor and disconnect the machine from the mains before removing the cover.

Prevent personal injury from rotating parts – keep your hands, feet and clothing at a safe distance.

Check that there are no doormats, sledges, lines etc. in the work area before starting the work. Keep children and animals at a safe distance.

Never use the machine without wearing suitable winter clothing.
-
Never do any adjustments to the machine when the motor is running.

There is a risk of flying objects hitting your eyes when you are working, making adjustments, or doing maintenance.
Always wear suitable safety clothing and safety glasses. -
Keep an eye on the snow ejector at all times.

If the ejector tube gets blocked, switch off the motor, unplug the power cord, and wait until the rotor on the snowblower has stopped.

Allow the machine to cool to the outdoor temperature before starting to work again.

Only use accessories/spare parts approved by the manufacturer.

Only use the machine when the safety devices and covers are in perfect condition.
Do not use the machine if find out it is damaged.
Other risks
The correct use of the snowblower does not mean there are no other potential
risks.
Because of the type and design of the machine the following potential risks
can occur:
– Contact with ejected snow.
– Body contact with the snowblower when it is running (risk of cut injuries).
– Unpredicted sudden movements of the snowblower (risk of cut injuries).
– Ejection of parts of the rotor.
– Objects lying in the snow can be thrown up.
– Risk of hearing impairment if ear protection is not used.
– Electric shock from touching non-insulated electrical components.

ASSEMBLY
Fitting the handles
- Make sure the snowblower is not connected to the mains.
- First fit the bottom handle on the rotor guard. Align the hole in the handle to the slot and then push in the retaining screw (ST4.2×9.5) through the bushing in the hole.
- Tighten the screw.
- Fit the bottom and top part of the handle together.

USE
Intended use
The snowblower is intended to clear snow from paths and garage drives, etc.
The snow should not be deeper than 25 cm.
Before use
Check the following before using the machine:
- The power source must match the voltage on the type plate.
- Check before using for the first time that all the screws on the snowblower are screwed tight and that the rubber pads are fitted the right way.
Starting/stopping

First press the start inhibitor on the right handle.

Press the motor brake while holding the start inhibitor pressed in.

The snowblower starts when the motor brake is pressed in.

The snowblower stops when the motor brake is released.
Adjusting the ejection angle
The ejection length can be adjusted with the control for the ejection angle.
The ejection length increases when the control for the ejection angle is moved
up. The ejection length reduces when the control for the ejection angle is
moved down. Adjust the control for the ejection angle by first releasing the
knob on the side of the ejector. Tighten the knob again after setting the
required angle.

WARNING!
This adjustment must only be done when the snowblower is disconnected from the
mains.
Adjusting the ejection direction
The ejection direction can be adjusted by turning the control as follows:
– Turn clockwise to align the ejector to the left.
– Turn anticlockwise to align the ejector to the right.

WARNING!
- Do not overload the motor when using the machine.
- Pay attention to other persons, windows and obstructions. Concealed objects in the snow can result in personal injury.
Overload protection
The snowblower has an overload protection, which switches it off when
overloaded. Press the reset button to start the snowblower again.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Before checking, cleaning and maintaining the snowblower it must be switched
off and unplugged from the mains. Wait until the rotor has come to a complete
standstill.
- Prevent mechanical problems by properly maintaining the snowblower before, during and after each season.
- The rubber pads on the rotor that throw up the snow are wearing parts and must be regularly checked.
- Check the shear pins and bolts to ensure that the machine is safe to use.
- Always follow the instructions when putting the snowblower into storage.
- Allow the snowblower to run for a few minute after clearing the snow so that the moving parts do not freeze up.
Storage
At the end of the winter season the snowblower should be put away in a safe
place:
– Out of the reach of children.
– Where the temperature and humidity do not fluctuate too often or too much.
– Where the snowblower is not exposed to direct sunlight.
– Protected from rain and mist.
– On a level and stable surface.
– Do not store the snowblower outdoors.
Folding the top handle
- Release the clamp levers one the swivel joint (one on each side of the handle).
- The top handle can then be folded forward or back, depending on how the snowblower is to be stored.

WARNING!
Check that the clamp levers are closed before using the snowblower. Check that
there is no play between both halves of the handle.
If the snowblower needs repairing
Do not repair the snowblower yourself. Contact an authorised service centre if
there is a fault on the snowblower. The snowblower must only be repaired by an
authorised technician.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Possible cause |

The plug is plugged into the mains, but the snowblower will not start. | Both |

The interlock switch is released and both safety switches are pressed in at
the same time, but the snowblower will not start.| The plug is not properly
plugged into the mains socket.
The extension cable is underrated and not suitable for the snowblower.
The rotor is blocked by lumps of snow or objects. A fault has occurred on the
motor.
Why has the snow clearing capacity diminished?| The mains voltage does not
match the voltage required for the snowblower.
The extension cable is undersized.
The rubber pads could be damaged, or the screws have come loose.
The rubber pads are turned the wrong way round.
The ejector tube is blocked by lumps of snow or objects.
Abnormal noise can be heard. What is the reason for this?| The rotor is
blocked by lumps of snow or objects.
The screws on the rubber pads have come loose.
The rotor has dropped down or is damaged, or there is a fault on the motor.
Why did the snowblower suddenly stop working?| The plug has been pulled out
from the mains.
The rotor is broken. The motor is damaged.
