When installing the lights, do not leave more than 2 bulbs off the rope as it may affect stability.
PAIRING YOUR DEVICE WITH THE GOVEE HOME APP
WHAT YOU NEED:
- A smartphone or tablet running iOS 8.0 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).
- Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Open the app, tap the”+” icon in the top right corner and search for “H701 O”.
- Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

FAQs
Can the power pack be outside? The item stresses that the lights are waterproof but then the user manual suggests the power pack is not.
We wrapped the power pack up in a ziplock bag and used electrical and packing tape. It’s been ok. It’s what we have done with our Xmas lights. We have had plenty of Rain. The lights are great and the app works great too.
Do these yellow bulbs attract bugs?
Insects generally see 3 colors of light, Ultraviolet (UV), blue and green. Bright white or bluish lights (mercury vapor, white incandescent and white florescent) are the most attractive to insects. Yellowish, pinkish, or orange (sodium vapor, halogen, dichroic yellow) are the least attractive to most insects.
only 30 light bulbs in 98 ft string of lights?
Yes, the light bulb is the same size as a regular frig light bulb.
Are the lights yellow or white? The photos show a golden white color.
The bulb is a white color when not turning on. The outdoor string light will produce warm yellow color when powering on with 2200K color temperature.
What do you do with the power pack if it’s not waterproof?
it’s just a plug-in box. there is no power pack/battery. I plug in an extension cord that runs from a water proof outside plug. The connection to the light string is inside /under the gazebo cover.
How many of the 96ft strands can I daisy chain together to go along my back fence? Will I have to control them individually?
I’m unable to see the option to do more than 30 bulbs in the Govee app. I have two sets of 96ft and it doesn’t work off of one plug. The entire second set of 96ft(30 bulbs after the first 30) doesn’t work.
do they bash together in the wind and break each other?
You can install the outdoor string lights wider to avoid bashing. They are not glass bulbs.
What ‘model’ is this? I need the exact model number to add it to the app. I can’t believe that that info is not readily available.
The patio lights model number is H7010.
Can I change the color?
The Bluetooth outdoor string light only supports warm yellow color.
Are replacement bulbs available. Also, what is the distance from the plug end to the first bulb?
We don’t sell replacement bulbs. The distance from the plug end to the first bulb is 260 cm.
Will it connect with apple HomeKit?
There’s a Govee app for this set. I don’t know if it will work with some apple device.
Are you able to cut at your desired length?
It has like a regular “extension cord” type wire. I am an electrician. I would assume you have a hot wire, supplies power, and a neutral wire that returns to complete the circuit. If that circuit is cut, the power will not flow and lights will not work.
This product sas 70 lumens per bulb but the remote-control version by the same company says 150 lumens per bulb. Is this product dimmer?
I am not sure about that but I do know that they are very bright when up on the brightest setting I have mine about half and they light up my deck and yard perfectly.
I know the instructions say you can only connect 2 strands but has anyone tried more? Any issues?
You can connect only 2 x 48ft light strings together.
