TOOLS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED:

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

1. TURN OFF ELECTRICAL POWER BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION OF THIS FIXTURE.
2. WIRING SUPPLIES AS REQUIRED BY LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
3. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
4. ENSURE THE SCREWS AND WALL PLUGS ARE SUITABLE FOR THE WALL INTENDED TO MOUNT THIS PRODUCT. CONSULT THE QUALIFIED PERSON FOR SAFETY INSTALLATION.
5. CONNECT THE GROUND WIRE (BARE COPPER OR GREEN) FROM YOUR FIXTURE TO THE GROUND WIRE (BARE COPPER OR GREEN) OR GROUND SCREW IN THE ELECTRICAL BOX.
6. TO CLEAN THE MIRROR, TURN OFF THE POWER, WAIT FOR IT TO COOL. WIPE THE MIRROR WITH A CLEAN AND SOFT CLOTH.
7. CLEAN GLASS WITH WATER ONLY.
8. REQUIRE AT LEAST 2 PERSONS TO SAFELY INSTALL THIS PRODUCT.

NOTE: The product may not look exactly as shown in the figures.

INSTALLATION:

1. Determine if the mirror is to be fitted portrait or landscape. Measure the distance (X or Y) between the hole centers on the back of the mirror.

2. Draw a horizontal line on the wall at the desired height.

3. Mark the wall for the pilot hole locations. Drill 3 pilot holes at the location. Determine the appropriate way (wood screws for the wooden studs or wall plugs and wood screws for drywall) of fastening the mirror to the wall.

4. Insert the wall screws supplied into the wall plugs. Screw head should protrude approximately 5 mm from the hole (this may vary depending on individual installation).
   NOTE: The wall plugs supplied are only suitable for solid stone/brick walls. For plasterboard walls, use special wall plugs.
   CONSULT THE QUALIFIED PERSON FOR SAFETY INSTALLATION.

5. Tighten the safety cable to the middle wall plug by screwing the wood screw and washer supplied. Carefully hang the mirror on the wall. Ensure the mirror is securely hung before wiring connection.

6. Run the fixture supply wire through the middle hole of the round mounting plate. Then make the electrical connection from the mirror to the house supply wires.

7. Connect the ground wires (bare copper or green) from your fixture to the ground wire (bare copper or green) or ground screw in the electrical box. Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black wire in the electrical box and connect the white wire to the white wire in the electrical box.

8. Once connections of wires are completed, carefully tuck wires and wire nuts into the electrical box making sure no bare wire (on the black and white) is visible at the wire nuts.

9. Secure the round mounting plate to electrical box using electrical box screws (not supplied).

10. Mount the mirror onto the screws fitted to the wall. Ensure mirror is securely mounted.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Lighting is turned on/off by the touch switch. The defogger is on when the light is on. DO NOT leave on for prolonged periods of time.
MEMORY SWITCH
If connected to a wall switch and the mirror is in the on position, you can turn the mirror on and off at the wall switch.
