The user manual is an integral part of this product. Before using the product,
please familiarize yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Keep
this user manual in a safe place and hand over all documents when passing the
product on to any future owner/user.
Proper use
This appliance has been designed exclusively for vacuum cleaning dry surfaces and dry material. Do not use the appliance on people or animals. The appliance is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments.
SAFETY INFORMATION
DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK!!
- Connect the mains adapter of the appliance only to a properly installed and easily accessible mains power socket supplying a mains power voltage of 100–240 V~, 50/60 Hz.
- Never use the appliance if the mains cable, plug or housing are damaged.
- To prevent accidents, defective plugs and/ or mains cables should be replaced immediately by an authorized specialist, our customer service or a similarly qualified person.
- All repairs should be carried out by an Autorized Service Center. Under any circumstances do not open the appliance by yourself. Repairs that are not carried out by an Autorized Service Center could lead to physical injuries.
- Never touch the mains adapter, mains cable or the appliance with wet or damp hands.
- Do not use the mains adapter with an extension cable; connect the mains adapter directly to a mains socket.

Do not use the appliance for vacuuming up:

Pointed or sharp-edged objects, e.g. nails or broken glass
- burning matches, glowing ashes or cigarette butts
- chemical products, stone dust, plaster, cement, printer toner or similar substances
- flammable and explosive substances
- liquids.

Do not change any accessories while the appliance is switched on.

Under extreme conditions, leaks in the battery cells may occur. In the event that battery fluid comes into contact with skin or eyes, the affected area must be rinsed off with water immediately. Seek medical attention.

This appliance can be used by children over the age of 8 and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are under constant supervision or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible dangers.
Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and customer service should not be performed by children without supervision. -
Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

Take special care when using the appliance on the stairs.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
- Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use the appliance without the dust filter inserted.
- Never put down the appliance next to or on radiators, ovens or other heated appliances or surfaces.
- Make sure that the ventilation slits are never obstructed. A blocked ventilation circuit can result in overheating and damage to the appliance.
- Always grip the mains plug to disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
- Do not use the mains adapter for a different product and do not attempt to charge this appliance using a different charger. Use only the mains adapter supplied with this appliance.
- The device must only be powered by safety extra-low voltage, as marked on the device.
- The product is equipped with lithiumion batteries. Do not throw the batteries into a fire and do not subject them to high temperatures. There is a risk of an explosion!
- Do not attempt to remove the batteries from the appliance. The batteries in this appliance are permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
Package contents and transport inspection

- Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.
- Remove all parts of the appliance and the quick guide from the packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.

NOTE
- Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.
- If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of defective packaging or during transport, contact the customer.

This appliance is supplied with noncharged batteries.
Charge the batteries completely before using the appliance for the first time
(see section Charging the batteries).

USE
Charging the batteries

The appliance runs on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. The batteries must be charged before using the appliance for the first time.

If the batteries are completely discharged, the charge indicator lamp «6» flashes blue for approx.
3 seconds before the appliance switches off. -
The charging process can take up to 4–6 hours if the batteries are completely discharged.
-
The operating time with fully charged batteries is approx. 12–15 minutes.
-
Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply again as soon as the batteries are fully charged.
-
The appliance switches off automatically as soon as charging begins and cannot be used while charging.

Connect the barrel plug «10» of the mains adapter «11» to the charging socket «8» on the underside of appliance (see Fig. 1). Plug the mains plug of the mains adapter «11» into the socket. The charge indicator lamp «6» starts flashing blue and the charging process begins.

As soon as the batteries are fully charged, the charge indicator lamp «6» turns off.

Do not recharge the batteries again until the suction power of the appliance becomes appreciably weaker and the charge indicator lamp «6» flashes blue.
Charge indicator lamp
The charge indicator lamp «6» supplies the following information on the charge status of the batteries:

2-in-1 nozzle
NOTE
- Switch the appliance off before attaching or removing the 2-in-1 nozzle «12».
The appliance’s 2-in-1 nozzle «12» has two different nozzles for different applications. Choose the appropriate nozzle depending on your needs:
Nozzle for upholstered furniture
Use this nozzle to clean soft and/or delicate surfaces.
Crevice nozzle
Use the crevice nozzle to clean narrow and hard to reach locations.

Hold the appliance by the handle «9» and pull the cap «1» off the appliance.

Insert the 2-in-1 nozzle «12» into the suction opening «2» of the appliance. Make sure that the button for adjusting the brush nozzle is facing upwards (see Fig. 2).

To adjust the 2-in-1 nozzle «12» – hold down the button on the brush nozzle. Slide the brush nozzle forward if you want to use nozzle for upholstered furniture. Slide the brush nozzle backward if you want to use the crevice nozzle (see Fig. 3 ).

To remove the 2-in-1 nozzle «12», pull it out of the suction opening «2» (see Fig. 2).
HANDLING AND OPERATION
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
- The suction opening «2» must be kept free at all times and may not be blocked. A blocked suction opening «2» can result in overheating and damage to the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids. They can cause a short-circuit and damage the appliance beyond repair.
NOTE

Always make sure that the dust filter «5» is properly inserted before you use the appliance.

Hold the appliance by the handle «9» and pull the cap «1» off the appliance (see Fig. 4).

If required, insert the 2-in-1 nozzle «12» into the suction opening «2» (see section 2-in-1 nozzle).

Press the On/Off switch «7» to switch on the appliance. The charge indicator lamp «6» lights up blue.

Press the On/Off switch «7» to switch off the appliance after use. The charge indicator lamp «6» turns off.

Push the cap «1» back onto the appliance ( see Fig. 4).

For storage, stand the appliance on the cap «1», which can also be used as a stand (see Fig. 5).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, unplug and turn off the device.
- The device body can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
- Protective cap and 2-in-1 nozzle can be washed but must be dried thoroughly before use.
- To empty the waste container:
- Remove the main nozzle (which is also a waste container) according to the marking on the nozzle.
- Remove the filter, which consists/ disassembles into two parts according to the markings on the inside of the filter.
- he inside part of the filter must be carefully and thoroughly shaken out and cleaned of dirt and debris. Washing is prohibited.
- Carefully and thoroughly shake out the container nozzle and the outer plastic part of the filter and clean it of dirt and debris.
It can be washed, but before assembly, the container nozzle and the outer plastic part of the filter must be thoroughly dried completely.
- To reassemble – repeat steps 1 and 2 in reverse order.
- Store the device in a dry, dust-free place.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the characteristics of devices that do not affect the operational quality indicators, without prior notice.
DISPOSAL
Disposal of the appliance
Never dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. Dispose of the
appliance via an approved disposal company or your municipal waste facility.
Please comply with all applicable regulations. Please contact your waste
disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how
to dispose of the product.
NOTE
- The integrated rechargeable batteries in this appliance cannot be removed for disposal.
Do not dispose of the mains adapter in your normal domestic waste.
Dispose of the mains adapter via an approved disposal company or your municipal waste facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental
friendliness and ease of disposal and are therefore recyclable. Dispose of
packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable
local regulations.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Warranty conditions:
The plant guarantees normal operation of the product within 12 months from the
date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of
operation and care provided by this Manual.
Service life of the product is 3 years.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding we kindly ask you to carefully study
the Owner’s Manual, the terms of warranty, and check the correctness of
filling the Warranty Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following
information is correctly and clearly stated:
model, serial number of the product, date of sale, clear seals of the company-
seller, signature of the buyer.
The model and serial number of the product must correspond to those specified
in the Warranty Card.
If these terms are violated, and if the information specified in the Warranty
Card is changed, erased or rewritten, the Warranty Card is considered invalid.
Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.)
of the appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be
carried out both by the user, and by specialists having the necessary
qualification sent by USC or selling companies (on a paid basis). In this
case, the person (the institution) installing the appliance shall be
responsible for the correctness and quality of installation (setup).
Please pay attention to the importance of the correct installation of the
appliance, both for its reliable operation, and for obtaining warranty and
free service. Require the installation specialist to enter all the necessary
information about the installation in the Warranty Card.
In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the fault of
the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon
presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance
in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty
workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim
due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law
«On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair the
warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.
WARRANTY CARD
Dear Buyer! Congratulations on your purchase of the ARDESTO brand appliance, which was designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards, and we thank you for choosing this particular instrument.
We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a product, require a full warranty card.
- Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *
- The service life of household appliances is 3 years.
- The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller / manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.
- Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.
- The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.
- The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
- misuse and non-consumer use;
- mechanical damage;
- damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects;
- damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
- damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
- when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
- in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
- lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it.
- The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands and other containers for storing products.
- The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.
- Tear-off maintenance tickets are provided by an authorized service center.
