IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

This User Manual contains information on the use and care of this product. Please read User Manual carefully before using the appliance and save it for future reference.

  • Before first use, check the appliance specifications and the power supply in your network.
  • The device is not intended for commercial use. This appliance is intended for use in domestic and similar conditions, in particular:
    • in kitchen areas for staff in stores, offices and other industrial conditions, on agricultural farms;
    • customers in hotels, motels, and other residential-type infrastructure;
    • in private pensions.

For indoor use only.

  • Do not use with damaged cord, plug or other damages.
    If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cord or kit provided by the manufacturer or after-sales service.

  • Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.

  • Do not pull the cord. Always unplug after each use. Don’t reel the cord around the appliance body.

  • Never attempt to dissemble and repair the appliance by yourself. If you encounter problems, please contact customer service center.

  • Using accessories or replacement parts which are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause damage to the appliance.

  • The device is not designed to operate from an external timer or a separate remote control system.

  • Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning and removing parts. Keep unplugged when not in use.

  • To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. If that occurs, immediately unplug the appliance and contact service center for inspection.

  • This device can be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with limited physical and sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of experience and knowledge if they are under constant supervision or instructed in the safe use of the device and they understand the possible dangers. Cleaning and customer service should not be carried out by children without supervision.

  • Place the multicooker on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Position it far from flammable materials including curtains, walls, and fabric upholstered furniture.

  • Do not place the multicooker near heat-emitting devices such as heaters, cooktops or electric burners.

  • Make sure that there is enough space around. The multicooker should stand more than 15 cm far from such flammable objects as furniture, curtains etc.

  • Don’t use the appliance near explosive objects.

  • Don’t move the appliance containing hot food or liquids or when it is connected to electricity network.

  • Don’t leave water or products in the multicooker for a long time.

  •  Don’t cover the steam valve and the lid while the multicooker is operating. It may cause malfunction in multicooker work.

  • Don’t let the multicooker work with empty pot.

  • While you are cooking the multicooker lid and outer surface might become hot. Handle or move the multicooker carefully. When you open the multicooker lid, wait while steam goes out and then you could get closer.

  • While cooking avoid the use of sharp utensils so as not to damage the pot inner surface. Please use the spoon which comes with the multicooker. You may use also wooden, plastic or silicone utensils.

  • Beware of hot steam that comes out of the steam vent while cooking. Keep hands and face away from the multicooker when you open it to avoid being burnt by hot steam.

  • Pour water only into the inner pot. Don’t pour water into the multicooker body.

  • Always check if there are no foreign objects between the pot bottom and heating plate. Foreign objects may cause smell of burning, strange sounds and cause the multicooker malfunction.

  • If any unusual sounds, odor or any other disruption happens, switch the multicooker off. Make sure if there are no any object or liquid between the pot and heating plate. If malfunction reason isn’t found, please call customer service. Never attempt to dissemble and repair the multicooker by yourself.

  • Let the multicooker pot cool before washing to avoid pot inner coating damage.

Automatic cooking programs are convenient, fast and a delicious way to cook! Take a brand-new step into the cookery world with ARDESTO automatic cooking programs! 16 cooking programs (16 automatic programs and 30 manual settings) let you cook a large variety of dishes! You can cook not only typical multicooker meals, but yoghurt, ragout, aspic, make jam and kissel. Optimal time and temperature settings are made for every automatic cooking program and the settings load automatically when you choose necessary program. For cooking any dish with your time and temperature settings

One of the main features of our multicooker is the option to set manually any time setting (with a range from 1 minute to 24 hours with an interval of a 1 minute) and cooking temperature setting (from 30°C to 170°C with an interval 1°C) in any automatic cooking program. There are 30 possible variants of manual settings. You could change default settings before the cooking program starts and when cooking process is running. What’s more you could save your own settings for further use. You don’t need to keep all the settings in mind – the multicooker will do that for you.

MULTICOOK

Our multi cooker has a program “Multi cook”, which allows you to set any temperature and time you wish. Time range for “Multi cook” is from 1 minute to 24 hours with an interval 1 minute. Temperature range is from 30°C to 170°C with an interval 1°C. “Multi cook” provides you more opportunities to cook your favorite dishes. You feel absolutely free with “Multi cook”. Any recipe gets a new life and pleases you and your family. What’s more “Multi cook” will help you to create your best recipe!

AUTO KEEP WARM (TEMPERATURE MAINTAINING FOR COOKED MEAL)

Our multicooker has “Auto keep warm” function which follows automatically cooking programs and keeps cooked meal warm up to 24 hours. Function is unavailable in “Fry” and “Yoghurt” programs.

AUTO KEEP WARM SWITCH OFF

It is possible to switch off “Auto Keep Warm” function before, during and after cooking process. You could check the state of “Auto Keep Warm” function with “Auto Keep Warm” function indication.
We have provided that function for specific dishes cooking technology. You could decide for yourself whether you need “Auto keep warm” or not for any cooking process.

WARM UP

You could warm your meal up with ARDESTO multicooker.

DELAY

“Delay” function lets you delay start a cooking program up to 24 hours. Make your breakfast on the eve! Function is unavailable in “Fry”, “Cake”, “Omelet”, “Pilaw” programs.

HIGH QUALITY INNER POT COATING

Ardesto multicookers are equipped with an inner pot with non-stick coating. This coating has excellent non-stick properties, saves product’s natural taste and aroma and doesn’t emit any harmful substance.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Please unpack your appliance. Remove all packing materials. Remove all stickers from the lid and housing.
  • Please check if all parts of the multicooker are in a set. Please check that every part is not damaged.
  • Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly. Wipe the stainless-steel outer housing with a clean damp cloth.
  • NEVER immerse the outer housing in water or any other liquid.
  • Before first use pour 3,5 L of water into the multicooker pot and start program “Boil”. Time is 60 minute.

DISPLAY

Display has red led. In program running mode display shows cooking program temperature and cooking time countdown. In programs “Fry”, “Steam”, “Pasta” countdown starts when system reaches operational temperature.

COOKING WITH THE MULTICOOKER

  • Make sure that the multicooker is clean inside and outside. Check if there are foreign objects inside or between the pot and heating plate.
  • Place the inner pot into the multicooker.
  • Rotate the pot a bit. Make sure that the pot has intimate contact with the heating plate.
  • Put ingredients into the pot.
  • Close the lid.
  • Connect power cord socket into the multicooker socket.
  • Plug the multicooker in. Don’t plug in if you haven’t fulfilled all the requirements.

PROGRAM SELECTION

  • Press button to switch the multicooker on.

  • Press button “Menu” to choose cooking program until you see indication near required cooking program.

  • You see preset for certain program cooking time and temperature meanings on the display.

  • If you don’t want to change temperature and time settings press , and cooking process starts. In most programs time countdown starts with cooking program start. Except programs “Steam”,“Fry”, “Pasta” where countdown starts when system reaches operational temperature.

  • When cooking program is over you hear beep signal and “Auto Keep Warm” function starts.
    “Auto keep warm” function is unavailable in “Yoghurt”, “Fry” programs. So keep warm doesn’t follow those programs.

  • To switch the multicooker off press and keep it pressed for 5 seconds.

TEMPERATURE AND TIME MANUAL SET UP AND SAVE FOR FURTHER USE

You could either change cooking time and temperature settings in chosen automatic program or set up necessary time and temperatures in program Multi cook before cooking starts and when cooking process is running.

In most programs time countdown starts with cooking program start. Except programs “Steam”, “Fry”, “Pasta” where countdown starts when system reaches operational temperature.

Change default settings before cooking process start

  • Choose necessary program with button “Menu” . If you need program “Multi cook” choose it the same way as any other program.
  • You see default time and temperature settings ( for “Multi cook” 10 minutes and 30°C) on the display.
  • In 5 seconds, time indication  and preset time start You could change time using buttons  and  . You change minutes from 0 to 59 by pressing button , you change hours from 0 to 24 by pressing button . The interval is 1 hour and 1 minute. If you keep the buttons  and  pressed then interval is 5 hours and 5 minutes.
  • To change temperature settings, wait till indication  starts flashing. Set up temperature settings with buttons  and  .
  • Temperature settings are from 30 to 170°C with interval 1°C. To increase temperature press , to decrease . If you keep the buttons and  pressed, then interval is 5°C.
  • When temperature and time are set up press and cooking process will start.

Change default settings in cooking program running mode

  • If you need to change cooking time and temperature in cooking process, press button while program is running.
  • Time indication  and time  start flashing in 5 seconds. You could change time with buttons and  . You change minutes from 0 to 59 with button .
  • You change hours from 0 to 24 with button .
  • To change temperature settings, wait till indication . starts flashing. Set up temperature settings using buttons and  To increase temperature press , to decrease .
  • Press button and cooking process is going on.
  • NOTE: If you don’t press button , cooking process goes on automatically in 30 seconds.

Save user settings

“Multi cook” function saves automatically last used settings of cooking time and temperature.
When you switch the multicooker on next time and choose program with manually changed settings you see your settings on the display. For system recovery (to get default settings) press long button (5 seconds).

Please keep in mind that all user presets will be reset and you see default preset of time and temperature in all cooking programs.

System recovery with button is possible only in stand-by mode or after pressing in program running mode.

FUNCTIONS

AUTO KEEP WARM

All programs except “Yoghurt” and “Fry” have “Auto keep warm” function which means that keep warm function follows cooking program. If “Auto keep warm” follows cooking program you see indication above keep warm. If there is no indication then there is no keep warm after program finish. You could switch “Auto keep warm” function off at time in the cooking process – when you choose cooking program, when program is running and when the program is over. To cancel “Auto keep warm” please keep button pressed for 5 seconds.

Note: In spite of the fact that “Auto keep warm” function is available for 24 hours, don’t leave cooked meal for a long time. That may cause meal spoilage.

Note: If temperature in any cooking program exceeds normal or stipulate then the appliance automatically goes to keep warm state and keep warm indicator is on.

WARM UP

If you need cooked meal to be warmed up press button and button (without any cooking program selection). Indication above keep warm will be on and the multicooker will start warming up meal.

DELAY

Use this function to delay time of cooking process start. Press button .
Display shows indication , and time   starts flashing. Set up necessary time with buttons for hours for minutes. Press start (if cooking program is already chosen) or “Menu” to choose the program.

Note: Delay function is not available in following cooking programs: “Fry”, “Cake”, “Omelet”, “Pilaw”.

Note: Don’t leave products in the multicooker pot for time more than 12 hours – some products could spoil. Please keep in mind product features when you plan delay time.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Let the appliance cool down completely.
  • Wash the pot using detergent, rinse with water and dry with soft material.
  • Do not use dishwasher for inner pot washing.
  • Do not use chemical and abrasive cleaners for washing the appliance and accessories.
  • Do not put the pot into cold water right after cooking. Let the pot cool down. Do not place very cold products on hot surface.
  • CAUTION: do not let water get inside the appliance.
  • Clean the appliance housing if required with warm water and soft material, do not use any chemical and abrasive cleaners or dish washing detergent.
  • Clean the steam valve after cooking. Detach it carefully. Rinse with running water, dry and set back

WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO CONSUMABLES (FILTERS, CERAMIC AND NON-STICK COATING, RUBBER SEALS, ETC.

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

 This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

The manufacturer may change the configuration, appearance, country of manufacture, warranty and technical specifications of the model, which do not impair performance, without prior notice. Please check when buying a device.

Warranty conditions

The plant guarantees normal operation of the product within 12 months from the date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of operation and care provided by this Manual.
Service life of the product is 5 years.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding we kindly ask you to carefully study the Owner’s Manual, the terms of warranty, and check the correctness of filling the Warranty Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following information is correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the product, date of sale, clear seals of the companyseller, signature of the buyer. The model and serial number of the product must correspond to those specified in the Warranty Card.
If these terms are violated, and if the information specified in the Warranty Card is changed, erased or rewritten, the Warranty Card is considered invalid.
Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.) of the appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be carried out both by the user, and by specialists having the necessary qualification sent by USC or selling companies (on a paid basis). In this case, the person (the institution) installing the appliance shall be responsible for the correctness and quality of installation (setup). Please pay attention to the importance of the correct installation of the appliance, both for its reliable operation, and for obtaining warranty and free service. Require the installation specialist to enter all the necessary information about the installation in the Warranty Card.
In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the fault of the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law «On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair the warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.

WARRANTY CARD

Dear Buyer! Congratulations on your purchase of the ARDESTO brand appliance, which was designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards, and we thank you for choosing this particular instrument.

We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a product, require a full warranty card.

  1. Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *
  2. The service life of household appliances is 5 years.
  3. The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller / manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.
  4. Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.
  5. The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.
  6. The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
    • misuse and non-consumer use;
    • mechanical damage;
    • damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects;
    • damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
    • damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
    • when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
    • in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
    • lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it.
  7. The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands and other containers for storing products.
  8. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.

Tear-off maintenance tickets are provided by an authorized service center.

The completeness of the product is checked. I have read the terms of the warranty service, no complaints.
