Product Information:

The SPJ Hi-End Active Speaker Series BT/USB/SD is a high-quality speaker system that can be connected to your devices using Bluetooth, USB, or an SD card. The product comes in four different models: Ref. nr. 178.045 / 178.042 / 178.041 / 178.040. The system contains voltage-carrying parts, so the housing should not be opened. It is not suitable for continuous use and should be connected to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Carefully read the manual prior to using the product to avoid invalidating the warranty.
  2. Take all precautions to avoid fire and/or electrical shock.
  3. Connect the product to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.
  4. Avoid placing the product near heat sources such as radiators, on a vibrating surface, or covering the ventilation holes.
  5. Do not plug or unplug the product with wet hands.
  6. If the product is damaged to such an extent that internal parts are visible, do NOT plug the product into a mains outlet, and DO NOT switch the unit on. Contact your dealer for assistance.
  7. Do not connect the product to a rheostat or dimmer.
  8. To avoid fire and shock hazards, do not expose the product to rain and moisture.
  9. If the product will not be used for a long period of time or during a thunderstorm, unplug it from the mains outlet.
  10. If the product has not been used for a longer period of time, condensation may occur. Let the unit reach room temperature and dry it before use.
  11. When the product is switched on for the first time, some smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear after a while.
  12. Be careful with the mains lead and do not damage it. A faulty or damaged mains lead can cause electrical shock and malfunction.
  13. If the plug and/or the mains lead are damaged, they need to be replaced by a qualified technician.

  • If this product is with speaker inside which can cause magnetic field. Keep the product at least 60cm away from computer or TV.
  • If the product has built-in lead-acid rechargeable battery. Please recharge the battery every 3 months if you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time. Or the battery may be damaged.
  •  If the battery is damaged please replace with same specifications battery. And dispose the damaged battery environment friendly.
  • If the product has fallen, always have it checked by a qualified technician before you switch the product on again.
  • Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage the varnish. Only clean the product with a dry cloth.
  • Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.
  • Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise serious damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.
  • Switch the product off prior to unplugging it from the mains and/or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables prior to moving the product.
  • Make sure that the mains lead cannot be damaged when people walk on it. Check the mains lead before every use for damages and faults!
  •  The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if power outlet match. If you travel, make sure that the mains voltage of the country is suitable for this product.
  • Keep the original packing material so that you can transport the product in safe conditions.

CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS

  1. Microphone Inputs: XLR and 6.3mm ¼” input jack for connecting a microphone.
  2. Line Inputs: XLR and RCA jack input for connecting audio units with line level output (e.g. mixer, CD player)
  3. Line Outputs: XLR and 6.3mm ¼” output jack for connecting an extra active speaker or audio unit with line-level input.
  4. Microphone Level: Adjust the signal level of the microphone.
  5. Line Level: Adjust the signal level of the line input.
  6. Master Volume: Adjust the overall output level of the portable sound set.
  7. Treble: Adjust high tone control.
  8. Bass: Adjust low tone control.
  9. Clip Indicator: The indicator lights up when the signal level is too high. When the LED light up continually you must reduce the volume to protect the speaker.
  10. Power Indicator: The indicator lights up when power is turned on.
  11. Mode button: Press the button to select BT/USB/SD function. Press for 2 seconds to turn the media player On or Off.
  12. Play button: For switching between play and pause.
  13. Folder button: Press this button to open the folder map of the USB or SD card.
  14. Repeat button: Press the key for repeating of single track or all tracks.
  15. Forward – Backward button: For title selection (short actuation) and increase or decrease volume (long actuation).
  16.   SD port: Connect your SD/MMC devices to this slot to play music in MP3 or WMA format.
  17. USB port: Connect your USB devices to this slot to play music in MP3 or WMA format.
  18. MP3 Level: Adjust the level of the media player.

CONNECT BT-DEVICE

  1. Set the search function on of the BT device you want to play the music. See the operating instructions for that device..
  2. Press the “MODE” button and activate BT-function of media player.
  3. Find on your BT-device “VONYX SPJ” and make the connection
