Specifications

Assembling the Fixture

Shut off the power at the circuit breaker box.
Remove old fixture and all hardware from Junction Box.
Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clear area.
Thread mounting screws into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate and attach it to the junction box.
Guide fixture wires through the hole in the center of the mounting plate.
Raise the lamp body onto the mounting plate and secure it with ball nuts.
Raise the glass shade onto the lamp holder and lock it securely with the check ring.
Install light bulbs according to the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.

Connecting the Wires

Connect fixture wires: Black to black house wire, white to white house wire, and ground wire to ground source.
Secure all wire connections with wire nuts and optionally wrap them with electrical tape.
If there is a ground wire in your outlet box, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it; otherwise, attach it to the green ground screw on the mounting plate.
Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box.

Your installation is now complete. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture for proper functionality.

Q: What should I do if I exceed the maximum wattage rating?

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

Shut off the power at the circuit breaker box. Remove old fixture and all hardware from Junction Box. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
Thread the two mounting screws about 1/4” into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate, spaced about the same distance apart as the holes in the fixture back plate. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using two junction box screws as shown.
- The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. The junction box is not included.
Guide fixture wires through the hole in the center of the mounting plate.
Follow wiring instructions carefully (see Fig. 2).
Raise the lamp body(C) onto the mounting plate, aligning the holes with mounting screws, then lock it securely with the ball nuts(D).
Raise the glass shade(B) onto the lamp holder, and lock it securely with the check ring(A).
Install the light bulbs(not included) under the fixture’s specifications.

NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUN WATTAGE RATING!

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig.2)

Connect the electrical wires as follows. Connect the Black wire from the fixture to the black house (hot) Wire.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) house wire.
- Make sure all wire nuts are secured. You may wrap the connections with electrical tape.
- If your outlet box has ground wires (green or bare copper) connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
- Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate.
Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
