Device layout
- Do not insert sharp objects into the product’s external holes. The inner components may be damaged along with the water-resistance feature.
- Do not look directly at the optical heart rate sensor’s lights. Doing so may impair your vision.
- If the product becomes hot to the touch, remove it until it cools. Exposing your skin to the product’s hot surface for a long time may cause low-temperature burns.
- If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Home button and Back button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it.
Attaching the band
Attach the band to your product while pressing the band’s button.
Remove the band while pressing the band’s button.
Charging the battery
Connect the wireless charger to the USB power adapter and place the product on
the wireless charger aligning the centre of your product’s backside with the
centre of the wireless charger.
Turning the product on
Press and hold the Home button for a few seconds to turn on the product.
Connecting the product to a mobile device
Turn the product on and open the Galaxy Wearable app by following the on-
screen instructions for connecting the product to a mobile device. If the
Galaxy Wearable app is not opened, download the Galaxy Wearable app and follow
the on-screen instructions.
Using the Galaxy Wearable app, you can check your products status and
customize its settings.

Safety information
Read all safety information before using the device to ensure safe and proper
use.
Follow the warnings below to prevent injuries or damage to the device

Your device contains magnets. Keep it away from credit cards, implanted medical devices, and other devices that may be affected by magnets. In the case of medical devices, keep your device more than 15 cm apart. Stop using your device if you suspect any interference with your medical device and consult your physician or your medical device manufacturer.

Do not disassemble the device or subject it to physical impacts or things that could damage it.

Use only Samsung-approved chargers and specially designed cables, and prevent the multipurpose jack from coming into contact with foreign materials.

If any part of the device is broken, smokes, or emits a burning odour, stop using the device immediately. Use the device again only after it has been repaired at a Samsung Service Centre or an authorized service centre.

The device can be used in locations with an ambient temperature of 0 °C to 35 °C. You can store the device at an ambient temperature of -20 °C to 50 °C. Using or storing the device outside of the recommended temperature ranges may damage the device or reduce the battery’s lifespan.

For accurate measurement, you have to wear the device so that it fits your wrist. After measuring, loosen the band to allow air to reach your skin. It is recommended to wear the device so that it is not too loose or tight, and that it feels comfortable in normal circumstances.

If you have sensitive skin, you may experience skin irritation because of certain factors, such as friction, pressure, or moisture, in the following cases: when the device is too tight or loose, when the device has sweat or foreign materials on it, or when the device has been worn too long.

If your skin is irritated where the device is worn, remove the device immediately and consult your physician to take proper action.

Always keep your device clean and dry.
To prevent possible hearing damage when using a headset, do not listen to sound at high volume for long periods. -
If there are fixed graphics on part or all of the touch screen for extended periods, it may result in afterimages (screen burn-in) or ghosting.

This device is water and dust resistant, and meets the following international standards.
– The 5ATM water resistance classification was tested by submerging the device in 50 m of fresh water for 10 minutes, leaving it still, to meet the requirements of ISO 22810:2010.
– The IP68 water resistance classification was tested by submerging the device in 1.5 m of fresh water for 30 minutes, leaving it still, to meet the requirements of IEC 60529. -
You can use this device when you are swimming in a pool or the sea where the water level is not deep.

You must follow the guidelines below to maintain the water and dust resistance of your device. If not, water and dust resistance will not be guaranteed.
– After swimming or if the device gets wet with liquid other than fresh water, such as coffee, drinks, soapy water, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, or chemical products like cosmetics, rinse the device with fresh water and dry it thoroughly with a clean soft cloth to maintain its water resistance.
– Do not stay submerged underwater, go diving, or play water sports, and do not swim in fast-moving water, such as a river, while wearing your device.
– If the device is hit or damaged, its water and dust resistance may be compromised.
– Do not disassemble your device without proper guidance.
– Do not dry your device with a machine that gives off hot air, like a hair dryer, or if you use your device in a hot environment like a sauna, the water resistance could be damaged from a dramatic change in the air or water temperature. -

Removing the battery
- To remove the battery, contact an authorized service centre.
- For your safety, you must not attempt to remove the battery. If the battery is not properly removed, it may lead to damage to the battery and device, cause personal injury, and/or result in the device being unsafe.
- Samsung does not accept liability for any damage or loss (whether in contract or tort, including negligence) which may arise from failure to precisely follow these warnings and instructions, other than death or personal injury caused by Samsung’s negligence.

Your mobile is designed to not exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves
recommended by international guidelines.

Correct disposal
- You can check device and battery disposal instructions in the user manual.
- For safety, do not handle the device if the Li-ion battery is damaged or leaking.
