Product Usage Instructions
Assembling the Fixture:
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker box.
- Remove the old fixture and hardware from the Junction Box.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts on a clear area.
- Thread the mounting screws into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate.
- Attach the mounting plate to the junction box with screws.
- Guide fixture wires through the hole in the centre of the mounting plate.
- Place the lamp body onto the mounting plate and secure it with the ball nut.
- Attach the glass shade to the socket holder and lock it securely.
- Install light bulbs according to fixture specifications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
Connecting the Wires:
- Connect the Black fixture wire to the black house (hot) wire, and the white fixture wire to the white (neutral) house wire.
- If there is a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground on the mounting plate.
- Secure all wire connections with wire nuts and optionally wrap them with electrical tape.
- Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
- Shut off the power at the circuit breaker box. Remove old fixture and all hardware from Junction Box.
- Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
- Thread the two mounting screws into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate, spaced about the same distance apart as the holes in the fixture backplate. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using two junction boxscrews as shown. The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. The junction box is not included.
- Guide fixture wires through hole in the centre of the mounting plate.
- Follow wiring instructions carefully (see fig.2).
- Place the lamp body(C) onto the mounting plate, aligning the holes with mounting screws, then lock it securely with the ball nut(D).
- Raise the glass shade (B) to the socket holder, lock it securely with check ring(A) until tight.
- Install the light bulbs (not included) following the fixture’s specifications. NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
CONNECTING THE WIRES

Connect the electrical wires as follows. Connect the Black wire from the fixture to the black house (hot) Wire. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) house wire. Make sure all wire nuts are secured. You may wrap the connections with electrical tape. If your outlet box has ground wires (green or bare copper) connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate. -
Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
