Product Usage Instructions

Installation

Step 1: Planning and Wiring
Decide where to place the light strips and ensure the wiring has sufficient length for the control box. Refer to the provided examples for guidance on wiring configurations.

Caution Notes:
Make sure not to exceed 6 AMP / 12V to prevent early failure. Use a voltage reducer if your battery exceeds 12V.

Brake Light Feature:
To activate the brake light feature, connect the auxiliary wire to the positive trigger wire of the brake light. The default color is red.

Step 2: Control Box Installation
Secure the control box in the desired location using Velcro or zip ties. Avoid exposing the control box to moisture as it is not waterproof.

Step 3: Light Strip Installation
Secure the light strips using zip ties to keep the wiring away from moving components. Protect LED connectors with a heat shrink tube or electrical tape for longevity.

Step 4: Remote Control
Use the included E-Z Remote or Keychain Remote to select colors or patterns. Follow the instructions on the remote for different lighting effects and adjustments.

Optional Upgrade
You can upgrade to the Aura Pro Bluetooth Control Box for smartphone app control (iOS & Android Compatible).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

• Q: Can I connect more than 6 AMP / 12V to the kit?
  A: It is not recommended as it may cause early failure. Use a voltage reducer if necessary.

• Q: Are the LED connectors waterproof?
  A: No, the LED connectors are not waterproof. Use a heat shrink tube or electrical tape for protection.

• Q: How do I activate the brake light feature?
  A: Connect the auxiliary wire to the positive trigger wire of the brake light to activate this feature.

MAIN COMPONENTS

INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Decide where to locate the light strips and ensure the wiring has enough length for the control box to be installed in the desired location.

EXAMPLES

• CAUTION! BEFORE YOU START
  • Connecting more than 6 AMP /12 V will override the kit and cause early failure, it must be powered to a 6 AMP /12 V or less. You will need a voltage reducer if your battery is more than 12V.
  • We provide multiple sets of extension wires for you to configure. You may connect or customize them to extend them wherever you want to install them.
• # AUX WIRING FOR A BRAKE LIGHT
  This feature will activate when the aux wiring is connected to the trigger wire for the positive(+) wire of the brake light.

NOTE
The default color is “RED” so that when you apply the brake, it will also sync with the brake light.

STEP 2
Secure the Control box in the desired location with Velcro or zip ties.

• CONTROL BOX NOT WATERPROOF Ensure the control box is safely and securely hidden from exposing elements of moisture.

STEP 3
Secure the light strips using the zip ties to tie all the wiring away from the moving components.

IMPORTANT:
The LED connectors are not waterproof. You will need to use HEAT SHRINK TUBE or ELECTRICAL TAPE around the LED connectors to ensure the longevity of the lighting kit.

STEP 4
Use the included E-Z Remote or Keychain Remote to select your desired color or pattern.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE

Upgrade your Aura Original Control Box to the Aura Pro Bluetooth Control Box. The new AURA Pro Bluetooth is enabled by a smartphone controller (iOS & Android Compatible).
