Product Usage Instructions

Installation Steps:

1. Open the hood and remove the plastic fasteners from the filler panel.
2. Remove the grille by unscrewing the bolts and lifting it forward.
3. Remove the bolts from the OEM headlight.
4. Unlock and release the OEM headlight by pushing the white latch up.
5. Unclip the electrical connectors from the headlight housing.
6. Attach the electrical connectors to the new headlight housing.
7. Securely tie up and organize the wires away from metal surfaces.
8. Connect the Aura Control Box to the vehicle’s power source and ground wire.
9. Connect the round connector from the headlight housings to the control box.
10. Mount the new headlight housing in place and secure it with bolts.

Using the Aura Control Box:
The Aura Control Box allows you to customize your headlights with various functions, including brightness control, colours, modes, door assist, and support for up to 4 devices at once. Use the OPT7 Connect App to control and adjust these settings.

COMPONENTS

TOOLS NEEDED

INSTALLATION

• STEP 1
  • Open the hood.
  • Please find the 6 points marked in Figure 1 and remove the plastic fasteners (6x) from the filler panel.
  • Remove the filler panel.
• STEP 2
  • Remove the 10mm bolts (4x) from the grille as shown in Figure 2.
  • Next, remove the grille by lifting and pulling forward.

• STEP 3
  Remove the 10mm bolts (2X) from the OEM headlight as shown in Figure 3.

• STEP 3

  • Remove the plastic fastener to open the access flap.
  • Now, let’s push the white latch up to unlock and release the OEM headlight.

• STEP 5
  Unclip the electrical connectors on the back of the headlight housing.

• STEP 6

  • Reattach the electrical connectors to the new headlight housing.
  • Ensure the wires are tied up securely to ensure wires are organized and stored away from any metal surface.

• STEP 7
  Install the Aura Control Box by connecting the positive wire for a constant on functionality (always on when battery is on) or an accessory wire (only on when the vehicle is on) which can be found in the Fuse Box. Connect the negative wire to a ground wire.

• STEP 8
  Connect the round connector from the headlight housings to the control box.

• STEP 9
  Line up the headlight housing mounting tabs and push rearward to seat it in place.

• STEP 10
  Reinstall the 10mm bolts (2X) to secure the new headlight as shown in Figure

• STEP 11
  Test out your headlights using the OPT7 Connect App.
