Product Usage Instructions:

1. Inspect Kit: Ensure all components are
   included.

2. Locate Light Strips: Decide where to place the
   light strips and ensure wiring length is sufficient for control box
   installation.

3. Connect Wiring: Ensure not to exceed 10 AMPs.
   Connect the wires carefully following the provided
   instructions.

4. Download App: Scan the QR code on the control
   box to download the OPT7 Connect App.

5. Secure Control Box: Use Velcro or zipties to
   secure the control box in a desired location away from
   elements.

6. Secure Light Strips: Use zip ties to secure
   light strips and wiring away from moving components. Waterproof LED
   connectors using heat shrink tube or electrical tape.

7. Pair and Customize: Open the OPT7 Connect App,
   pair your smartphone, and customize colors and modes for your light
   strips.

FAQ:

Q: Can I connect more than 10 AMPs to the kit?

A: Connecting more than 10 AMPs will cause early failure of the
kit. Ensure it is 10 AMPs or less.

Q: What should I do if my LED bars or strips exceed the

recommended temperature range?

A: Ensure that all components are mounted in areas where the
temperature does not exceed 85°F to 185°F.

Q: How do I activate the brake light feature?

A: Connect the aux wiring to the trigger wire of your brake
light wire and set the color choice to red within the OPT7 Connect
App.

Q: Is the control box waterproof?

A: The control box is not waterproof. Keep it away from elements
and use Velcro or zipties to secure it.

Q: What should I do if I need additional extension wires?

A: The kit includes multiple sets of extension wires for you to
configure and extend as needed.

STEP 1 Inspect kit to ensure all contents was included.

Decide where to locate the light strips and ensure wiring has enough length for control box to be installed in desired location.

1. Connecting to more than 10 AMP will override the kit and cause early failure, ensure it is 10AMPs or less!!

WARNING

Please ensure that the LED bars or strips/control box/wiring all are mounted in areas where will not exceed 85 or 185.

IMPORTANT NOTE!! Before You Start
We provide multiple sets of extension wires for you to configure. You can quickly extend them wherever you want to install.
AUX WIRING FOR A BRAKE LIGHT
You may choose the desired color choice directly on the OPT7 Connect app This feature will activate when the aux wiring is connected to the trigger wire for positive (+) wire of your brake light wire.

WARNING NOTE

You should ONLY set the color of your aux wire to “red” in color choices within the app. If you plan on connecting the aux wire to your brake signal wire.

STEP 3
Scan the QR code on the back of the control box to download the app.
STEP 4
Secure Control box in desired location with Velcro or zipties.

• The control box is NOT waterproof. Tuck it away from the elements.
  STEP 5
  Secure the light strips using the zip ties to tie all the wiring away from the moving components.
• IMPORTANT: The LED connectors are not waterproof. You will need to use HEAT SHRINK TUBE or ELECTRICAL TAPE around the LED connectors to ensure the longevity of the lighting kit.
  STEP 6
  Open the “OPT7 Connect” App, pair your smart phone to the control box, and pick your desired color!
