Regulatory instructions

Please read the user manual after having read these regulatory instructions.

Safety instructions

  • Please read the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference. Should the unit be given to someone else, please include this user manual too.

  • **** Failure to follow the safety and operating instructions may result in a risk of electric shock, fire and/or injury to persons.

  • Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer, as they could damage the unit and/or cause injury.

  • This unit must not be used by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or people with no experience of using or knowledge of the unit,  unless they can be supervised or have received prior instruction – from someone responsible for their safety – regarding how to safely use the unit.

  • Children must be supervised to ensure they don’t play with the unit.

  • Install the unit on a stable surface.

  • Do not install the unit near open flames, such as lit candles.
    Do not install the unit:
    – In a place that may come into direct sunlight.
    – Near heat-emitting appliances (e.g. electric heaters).
    – Near or on other significant heat-generating equipment (e.g. AV equipment, stereos, computers, etc.).
    – In places subject to constant vibration.
    – In humid or damp areas, in addition to places exposed to the weather.

  • Do not expose the unit to dripping or splashing water. No liquid-filled objects (e.g. a vase) should be placed on the unit.

  • Do not obstruct the air vents with items such as newspapers, tablecloths and curtains, etc.

  • The mains socket must be easily accessible.
    Before connecting the unit, always check:
    – That the unit and cable are not damaged. In the event that they are damaged, take the unit to your retailer to be inspected and if necessary, repaired.
    – That the indicated voltage on the unit’s nameplate corresponds to that of your electrical mains.

  • Do not disassemble the unit yourself. All disassembling, repair or inspection operations must be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel.

  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent any risks.

  • The protective screen, lens and ultraviolet screen must be changed if they are visibly damaged to such an extent that their effectiveness is compromised, e.g. cracks or deep scratches.

  • The bulbs are not replaceable.

Disposing of your old device

SEPARATE COLLECTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRICAL DEVICES
This product must not be disposed of or recycled with other household waste when it reaches the end of its useful life.
The product and its packaging should be collected and recycled separately from other waste.
The manufacturer will make a financial contribution towards the cost of collecting, sorting, and recycling the packaging.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY WASTE?
Please dispose of your waste in accordance with the advice below to reduce the impact of your new purchase on the environment.
You are legally responsible for separating the waste associated with this product (and any accessories) so that it can be recycled, including any instructions or/or packaging.
Electric and electronic appliances should not be sorted or recycled together with other household waste.
Keep used products and packaging out of the reach of children, as they can pose a safety hazard.
Please retain the instructions and any other notices throughout the service life of the device, and include these documents with the device if it is passed on to a third party.
For packaging and other notices, please refer to the recycling instructions on the main packaging, and to the advice available on the Internet.
For the product itself, please refer to the instructions available on the Internet. If you do not have Internet access, please contact your local authority for advice on how to sort
and recycle your waste. For your children’s safety, please store your old devices in a safe place outside your home until they are collected.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

This product is guaranteed against faults caused by defects in manufacturing or the materials used for a period of two years, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by failure to install the device correctly, incorrect use of the product, or excessive wear and tear. proof of purchase required.
