Product Usage Instructions

1. Refer to the Installation Table & Chart for the bed length and other details.
2. Install the flange inserts to the bedside wall flange sheet metal behind the plastic cap. Refer to the Installation Table & Chart for locations.
3. Pull the rear clamp down and unhook it from the bottom edge of the bed flange. Slide the clamp, at an angle, away from the bed wall.
4. Prior to vehicle operation, ensure that the truck bed cover is properly secured. It is recommended to keep the truck bed cover in the closed position and secured when not in use.

Limited Warranty
All Ford part numbers provided are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship on products properly installed per the installation instructions provided with the product. This warranty covers repair or replacement of any defective product at no charge during the applicable warranty period listed below. Labor for replacement or service of a defective product is not paid or reimbursed.

Warranty Period:

• USA Coverage: Ford – 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first; Lincoln – 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
• Outside USA Coverage: Ford – 3 years or 60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first; Lincoln – 4 years or 80,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage, defect, or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, improper installation, modification, or improper or lack of maintenance. Incidental and consequential damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Please note that your rights may vary from state to state or province to province.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE:

IMPORTANT!

• Do not place objects on or against the cover or framework.
• Do not tie cargo to the tonneau cover framework.
• Never allow children or pets to occupy the pickup box while the cover is closed.
• The cover is not airtight. Special care is required to keep cargo clean and dry.
• The cover must be fully open and secured with safety straps when towing the vehicle backward.
• Do not stow cover against the cab window.
• While driving, the tonneau cover must be either:
  • Folded and secured by latching the front safety straps.
  • Unfolded and secured to the truck bed.
• Only use mild detergent soap and water to clean the tonneau.

INSTALLATION

1. Lower tailgate and wash truck bed.

INSTALLATION TABLE & CHART

Refer to the following chart:

• Striker plate location (Part 8) dimension “8”
• Rear bed wall flange insert location (Part C) dimension “C”

Install striker plates. Refer to Installation Table & Chart item “B” in this manual for locations.

NOTICE:
Do not secure the plastic bed rail or bed cap.

Install the flange inserts to BED side wall flange sheet metal, (behind the plastic cap). Refer to the Installation Table & Chart item “C” in this manual for locations.

Place cover over the cab end of the truck bed.

• NOTE:
  Take care not to damage/deform all seals when installing Tonneau to the truck bed.

  • NOTE:
    Visually check to ensure the front frame is even on both sides.

With tailgate open and front clamps secure, completely close the cover.

NOTICE:
Do not use wrench or overtighten.

NOTICE:

• Do not secure the plastic bed rail or bed cap.
• The clamp must contact the striker plate.
• Ensure the clamp is positioned under the striker plate.
• Hand tighten until clamp contacts, then tighten an additional two turns.

Close the tailgate and unfold the cover. Check that the cover is parallel and square with the truck bed and bed rails. Adjust the cover until the seal fits with the tailgate as shown. If not parallel or square, open the cover and loosen the cab clamps to reposition the cover.

Slide the tail clamp at an angle to the truck bed rail. Push down on the cover near the clamp while installing the tail clamp. This will compress the seal and there should be no gap between the cover and the bed rail. Align the tail clamp under the bed rail and the flange insert. With some vertical gap remaining and while applying downward force to the clamp, release the clamp allowing it to snap closed to the bed rail.

• This method will ensure that the clamp is now properly engaged and locked. The cover should have no gap in the bed rails.

OPENING SOFT FOLD COVER

Pull the rear clamp down and unhook it from the bottom edge of the bed flange. Slide the clamp, at an angle, away from the bed wall.

Fold clamp into rear tonneau rail to prevent damage when folding cover.

Fold the cover forward.

Secure the cover by fastening the straps to the front rail. Tighten straps to hold cover securely in place.

IMPORTANT Safe operation and use.
Prior to vehicle operation, the truck bed cover MUST be properly secured. It is recommended to keep the truck bed cover in the closed position and secured when not in use.

COVER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

Pull the rear clamp down and unhook it from the bottom edge of the bed flange. Slide the clamp, at an angle, away from the bed wall.

Fold clamp into rear tonneau rail to prevent damage when folding cover.

Fold cover forward.

Loosen the clamp and position it away from the bed wall flange.

Remove the cover from the vehicle.

NOTE:
Store cover in a dry location away from potential damage.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. If the tonneau cover is uneven, check the tonneau cover alignment tab to ensure it is aligned against the front bed rail. See Step 5, INSTALLATION.
2. If the tonneau cover is loose or shifts, check all four clamps to ensure they are secure and adjust if necessary.
