TRAY game
Game1 whaT Was Where?
GET READY
Place the tray in sight of all players and remove the timer, scoring sheets,
and cards. Give each player a scoring sheet and a pen or pencil. Place the
deck of cards face down next to the tray, with the timer. Now loosely place
the lid on the tray giving it a shake to mix up the pieces inside.
TOP TIP: For an easier game, remove an item of each colour from the tray…
Just don’t take the dice or key out!
PLAY
The game is very simple. It’s made up of 10 rounds, each round based on a
card that is turned over from the deck. Let’s get started with round
- First remove the lid from the tray, and turn over the timer. Players now have until the timer ends to observe what’s in the tray, where the items are and what colour they are. Try to remember as many details as possible!
- Next, loosely place the lid back on the tray. Now turn over the top card from the deck to reveal the challenge for this round i.e. Name two blue things.
- Turn the timer over once again, and players have until the timer ends to write answers on their scorepad next to the corresponding round number.
- Once the time is up, players take turns to shout out their answers, before the lid is removed to reveal who was right, and who was wrong! Write your score in the box next to your answers.
WINNING After 10 rounds, add up your points. The player with the most
points is the winner! If there’s a draw, keep playing!
TOP TIP: Want to make it even trickier? Add your own items from around
the house or from your pockets!

“Remember that game from the 80’s? The one with a tray, some random stuff, and
a tea towel?
Do you also remember just how much fun it was?
From this we created the Tray GameTM. With all the fun and memory training of
the original game, but with much more gameplay, plus everything you need is
included!
As it stores neatly away in the tray, it’s also ideal for trips away, or
visits to friends and family!”
