The boron steel utilized to build the all-new Ford Taurus sedan is stronger
than regular steel yet surprisingly lightweight. This lowers the overall
weight of the vehicle while enhancing performance and ensuring superior
cockpit safety. The Taurus also offers a genuine sense of style with Adaptive
LED Headlamps to help lead you through the darkness, adjusting as you go. When
you turn, the illumination turns with you on your road to success. Auto-High
Beam LED Headlamps are also available.

The available dual panel panoramic sunroof doesn’t just open a beautiful view of the world, it also slides back over, rather than under the rear panel, to give you maximum headroom as you go. And sometimes it’s the littlest things that make all the difference. Take available Dual-Zone Climate Control. It separates cabin temperature settings for you and your front passenger so everyone can be comfortable in their own way.

ECOBOOST ENGINE
The 2.0L EcoBoost® engine combines turbocharging and direct fuel-injection, generating robust 232HP1 and 388Nm1 of torque, giving you high performance and energy efficiency. The highly resourceful engine means higher fuel efficiency without losing any power.
POWER AND CONTROL
To harness the whopping 388Nm1 of Torque, the Taurus sedan is equipped with a Torque Vectoring control making sure that all the sheer potential is delivered in a smooth and safe fashion regardless of the road conditions.2
ELECTRIC ASSISTED POWER STEERING
The comfortable and poised persona continues when the road bends, thanks to the Electric Assisted Power Steering,2 which makes for an effortlessly rewarding drive every time you get behind the wheel.

The Ford Taurus sedan brings the spirit of excitement to the everyday driver.
SYNC® 4 provides fast and simple access to your audio sources and lets you
interact with select mobile apps while keeping your eyes on the road. Voice
commands, steering wheel buttons, or a quick tap on your 13.2″ touchscreen
will give you control of your compatible mobile apps. Connect your compatible
iPhone® with Apple CarPlay®1 to give you access to Apple Music,® and use Siri®
to send and receive hands-free text messages.2 If you have a compatible
AndroidTM phone, Android AutoTM3 connects to Google MapsTM and the Google
AssistantTM personal assistant for pass-through voice commands. The available
Wireless Charging pad is located in the center console and it allows you to
charge your smartphone without a cord. The Taurus brand supports Qi wireless
charging protocol.4 And the Rotary Gear Shifter enables you to take control of
the eightspeed automatic transmission with the simple turn of the dial.

Information System), Collision Mitigation System, Pre-Collision Assist with
Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Aid,
Lane Departure Warning, Rear Parking Sensors, driver impairment monitor,
emergency steering assist, and a Rear View Camera.
