Product Information

The product is an Auxiliary Battery Box designed for Toyota Hilux SR5 vehicles with model year 2005 onwards. The product code for this specific model is BT025-D.

The Battery Tray is capable of fitting up to an N70zz 12-inch case battery or a 120AH size 4×4 battery.

The package includes the following components:

  • 6 x 6mm bolts & nuts
  • 3 x washers
  • 3 x 4mm bolts & nuts
  • 3 x 10mm Thick Spacers
  • 1 x Battery Hold Down with J Hooks

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Start by assembling the bottom plate using 3 x 6mm bolts.
  2. Next, assemble the top bracket using 3 x 4mm bolts & nuts.
  3. Place the battery tray into the desired position.
  4. Mark the holes and carefully drill them, making sure not to drill into the tire.

  6. Tighten the 3 x 6mm bolts, washers & nuts into place.
  7. Undo the existing bolts in the sports bar and re-use them to fix the bracket at the top of the box.
  8. Sit the battery into the tray.
  9. Place the battery hold down on the top inner corner of the battery.
  10. Insert the J hooks into the corner holes in the battery tray and through the hold down.
  11. Tighten the J hooks until the battery is firmly in place.
