SAFETY NOTES

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:

Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according to this manual.
Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person. Keep children and unauthorised persons away from work area. Never allow children to use the unit.
Never exceed the max. operating pressure of 24 bar.
Do not release the end of the hose before the hose has been fully retracted or when it did not snap in its position. The automatic rewind mechanism may destroy the reel and bystanders might get hurt. Always retract the hose slowly.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not attempt to repair it yourself. The hose reel does not contain parts serviceable by you.
Make sure the hose cannot get jammed or damaged due to sharp edges. Do not use the unit when damaged. Check the hose for damage before each use.
Do not let the unrolled hose become a tripping hazard.
Do not expose the air hose reel to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations. Avoid strong mechanical stresses.
Do not modify the unit.
Disconnect the air hose reel from the air supply before adjusting, changing accessories, or maintenance.
Do not aim the air hose at yourself or other persons during operation.
Turn off and disconnect the air supply and depressurize the unit when not in use. Never pull the inlet hose to disconnect from the air supply.
Always retract the hose when not in use.
Always wear a dust mask, safety goggles and non-skid safety shoes when operating the air hose reel.
Do not use the unit while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combustible gases or any bottled gas as an air source for the tool.
Never connect the unit to air source before installation.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it any further and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer service. Do not disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.

OPERATION

Before first Use
Remove the packaging material from the air hose reel and check it for damage in transit. Do not leave packaging materials in the range of children, they may become dangerous toys.
Mounting

Attach the wall holder (4) to a suitable load-bearing wall, post or similar location with suitable mounting hardware and use the hinge pin to connect the reel to the wall holder. The wall holder does not have a defined top or bottom, but it should be mounted as vertical as possible because otherwise the hose reel will hang to one side.
Choose a location that is free of electrical wiring or other obstructions, and make sure that the fixing surface is sturdy enough to hold the hose reel.
It is advised to fix the hose reel at least 1 m away from the floor.

Intended Use
The wall-mountable air hose reel is designed to keep the air hose organized and stored safely and neatly. It can be mounted on the wall or ceiling and is able to be swivelled 180 degrees.
Operating

Connect the connection hose (5) to compressed air supply.
Grip the ball stopper (1) and pull the hose (2) out. Slowly unroll the hose to the required length. The hose is guided by a guiding mechanism during unwinding and retraction and locks in place by means of a ratchet mechanism and remains in the selected length.
To lock the hose, pull the hose and stop at your desired locking position. There are 2 – 3 locking positions per meter of the hose.
Use the quick coupler (3) to connect the air tool with the air hose.
Disconnect the air tool after work from the air hose. Briefly pull the hose after finishing work until you do not hear the clicking sound of the ratchet. The hose will automatically be retracted. Firmly hold the end of the hose with your hand and let it retract slowly.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Use a lightly moistened cloth for cleaning. Do not clean the air hose reel with aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals in order to not damage the surfaces.
Keep all parts of the air hose reel clean at all times.
Make sure that pressure is released from the hose before maintenance or inspection.
Do not spray water or any other liquid into the reel.
Store the reel in a clean and dry place, out of reach of children.
