ROADSAFE BT023 Auxiliary Battery Tray
Product Information
The product is an Auxiliary Battery Tray designed for Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50 vehicles with model years 2007 to 2011. The product code for this tray is BT023. It is specifically designed to fit up to N70zz 12-inch case batteries. The battery tray comes with the following components:
- 1 x 6mm bolt, nut & washer
- 2 x 4mm bolts
- 1 x Hold Down with J Hooks
- VEHICLE Ford Ranger / Mazda BT50

Please note that this battery tray is only compatible with manual models that do not have an E.C.U unit on the left-hand front skirt.
Product Usage Instructions
- Locate the left-hand passenger side of the vehicle under the bonnet.
- Remove the vehicle horn from the skirt and relocate it to the top locking panel next to the coolant bottle.
- Position the battery tray in the front of the left-hand passenger side of the vehicle under the bonnet.
- There are two support brackets under the tray. Use the existing bolt for the support towards the engine. For the second support towards the front of the vehicle, use the provided 6mm bolt, washers, and nut.
- Place the battery into the tray.
- Fit the battery hold down onto the battery and tighten it securely.
- The tray has a support to the skirt where the horn was originally located. Fit two 4mm bolts into this support and tighten all bolts and nuts.

Only Fits Manual Models Without E.C.U Unit on Left-Hand Front Skirt.
INSTALLATION
- Battery Tray fits into the front of the left-hand passenger side of the vehicle under the bonnet.
- Relocate vehicle horn from the skirt to the top locking panel next to the coolant bottle.
- The tray has two support brackets under it. For the support towards the engine, use the existing bolt. The second support is to the front of the vehicle; use 6mm bolt, washers & nut.
- The tray has a support to the skirt where the horn was located. Fit two 4mm bolts and then tighten all bolts and nuts.
- Sit battery in tray, fit battery hold down and tighten.
