ROADSAFE BT019 Auxiliary Battery Tray

Product Information

The product is an auxiliary battery tray designed for Toyota Landcruiser 76/78/79 VDJ V8 Models manufactured between 2011 and 2013. The product code for this battery tray is 019. It is specifically designed to fit up to N70zz 12-inch case batteries.

The package includes the following items:

• 4 x 6mm bolts, nuts & washers
• 2 x 6mm bolts
• 1 x hold down with J hooks

Product Usage Instructions

1. Locate the left-hand passenger side of the vehicle under the bonnet.
2. Remove the module fixed to the skirt in the area where the tray fits. Move the module towards the fire-wall and re-fix it.
3. Sit the battery tray into position, aligning it with the  threaded holes in the skirt. Use the 2 x 6mm bolts to secure thetray.
4. Mark the four holes in the base of the tray. Then, remove the tray and drill the marked holes. Make sure to check the distance under the skirt to avoid interference with tires or other components.
5. Re-fit the tray and place the 4 x 6mm bolts, washers, and nuts in the drilled holes. Tighten all bolts securely.
6. Place the battery into the tray and secure it using the provided battery hold down with J hooks.
7. Prior to installing the battery tray, re-position the A.B.S. modules as follows:
8. Arrange to remove and relocate the A.B.S. modules and wiring loom.
9. Remove the A.B.S. brackets holding the modules from the inner guard. Remove the modules from the brackets, retaining the original screws.
10. Remove the black loom protection cover from the main wiring loom and re-position the wiring loom towards the fire wall.
11. Mount the A.B.S. modules to the alloy plate supplied, using the original screws retained in step 2. Mount the alloy plate to the inner guard using the original bolt holes.
12. Mount the BC-DC Unit to the battery tray before installing the battery tray according to the instructions on Page 1.

Battery Tray Details
Fits up to N70zz 12 inch case battery.

Comes with : 4 x 6mm bolts nuts & washers, 2 x 6mm bolt, 1 x hold down with J hooks.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Battery tray fits into the left hand passenger side of the vehicle under the bonnet
2. There is a module fixed to the skirt in the area where the tray fits, remove and move towards the fire-wall, re-fix. Sit Battery tray into position, line up the tray with threaded holes in the skirt and fit 2 x 6mm bolts.
3. Mark the four holes in the base of the tray then remove tray & drill. Be careful to check distance under skirt to tyre etc. Re-fit tray and place 4 x 6mm holts, washers & nuts and tighten all bolts.
4. Sit battery in tray fit, battery hold down and tighten.

RE-POSITION OF A.B.S. MODULES

1. Before proceeding with installation please arrange to remove & relocate the A.B.S modules & wiring loom.
2. Remove A.B.S. brackets that hold A.B.S. modules from inner guard. Then remove modules from brackets. Discard original brackets (retain original screws).
3. Remove black loom protection cover from main wiring loom. Re-position wiring loom down towards the fire wall.
4. Mount A.B.S. Modules to alloy plate supplied, with original screws retained in #2 above. Mount alloy plate to in-ner guard using original bolt holes in inner guard.
5. Mount BC-DC Unit to batter tray BEFORE installing battery tray per instructions on Page 1.
