Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse.
  2. Install mounting clips using provided screws. Space clips to support the strip evenly.
  3. For outdoor installation, use a weatherproof junction box with GFCI breaker and wire nuts.
  4. Connect neutral wire to white wire and hot wire to black wire using supplied wire nuts.
  5. Tuck wires into the junction box and secure it.
  6. Restore power and check LED tape lights operation.

Troubleshooting

  • If some LEDs are not functional, ensure product has not been bent excessively.
  • If lights are flickering, verify connection to a 120VAC, 60Hz circuit.
  • If lights do not illuminate, check main power and wiring.

WARNINGS

  • Risk of fire or electric shock.
  • Do not cover the tape lights, can cause melting, overheating or fire.
  • Do not operate tape lights when they are coiled.
  • Do not puncture, cut, shorten or splice the tape lights.
  • Do not submerge tape lights in liquids or install near flammable liquids.
  • Do not subject tape lights to continuous flexing or sharp corners.

CAUTIONS

  • Do not install where tape lights will be stepped on or subject to physical damage.
  • To prevent overheating, maintain at least 1/2 inch spacing between light cables.
  • Do not install closer than 10 feet from a swimming pool.
  • Do not overload. Do not connect more than 100 feet.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ensure that power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.
  2.  Using the provided screws, install the mounting clips in the desired location as seen in figure 1. Space clips accordingly to ensure the strip is supported on each end and the middle to aviod “drooping”.
  3. Using a standard junction box, if installing outside ensure j-box is weather proof with GFCI breaker and using the necessary strain relief connectors (not included), insert both the source and supply  wires into the j-box.
  4. Connect the neutral wire to the white wire, connect the hot wire the black wire. Secure using the supplied wire nuts as seen in figure 2.
  5. Ensure the wires are tucked into the j-box and no wires are being pinched or misplaced. Secure the j-box as seen in figure 3.
  6. Installation is now complete. Restore power and check operation of the LED tape lights.
