Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove any factory tie-down points from the vehicle.
2. Orient the recovery points correctly and affix them to the vehicle using the supplied bolts and washer plate.
3. Torque the bolts to the specified torque settings:
   • M12x1.25 bolts: Torque to 150 Nm.
   • M10 bolts:
   • Torque to the recommended settings depending on the grade of the bolt (8.8, 10.9, or 12.9) as stated in the torque specifications.
   • M12 bolts:
   • Torque to the recommended settings depending on the grade of the bolt (8.8, 10.9, or 12.9) as stated in the torque specifications.
4. Ensure that all bolts are fitted and torqued to the recommended settings to meet tested standards for the tow points.
5. Make sure to use all supplied and specified components during  the installation of the tow recovery points. Failure to do so can significantly reduce the working load limit (WLL) specified foreach individual point, which can result in serious injury or death.

ENSURE ALL SUPPLIED AND SPECIFIED COMPONENTS ARE USED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF TOW POINTS. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE THE WORKING LOAD LIMIT (WLL) SPECIFIED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL POINT (5000KGS), WHICH CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

1. Remove any factory tie-down points.
2. Orient recovery points correctly and, using supplied bolts and washer plate, affix to vehicle.
3. Torque bolts to specification. Bolt torque specs: M12x1.25 : 150 Nm

NOTE: DURING RECOVERY ALWAYS USE BOTH RECOVERY POINTS.
The mounts themselves are sided, so please ensure installation to the correct side of the vehicle. In some circumstances. The RP-CRU70E have been designed to protrude through the aftermarket skid plate where one is installed. In some instances, depending upon the skid plate installed, you might need to trim two 100mm (long) x 40mm (wide) holes on each side to allow for the skid plate to be refitted. For the original Toyota undertray, two small notches need to be cut.
NOTCHING OF PLASTIC UNDERTRAY UNDERTRAY IN PLACE AFTER NOTCHING ENSURE ALL BOLTS ARE FITTED AND TORQUED TO RECOMMENDED SETTINGS TO ENSURE TOW POINTS MEET TESTED STANDARDS.
