ROADSAFE RPPAT04 Recovery Tow Points

Hardware supplied

• 4 x M14x1.5 bolts—Nissan Patrol/100” IFS Landcruiser
• 2 x M14x1.5 nuts on wires—Nissan Patrol L/H Chassis
• 4 x M12x1.25 bolts—Toyota Landcruisers & Nissan Navara D40
• 2 x M12x1.25 nuts on wires—Nissan Navara D40

Fitted to GU Patrol series 3 onwards

1. Each side uses 2 x M14x1.5mm (vertical plane into the chassis). High-tensile bolts were supplied, and one factory bolt was inserted into the side profile as pictured.
2. The passenger side requires two nuts on wires (supplied) to be installed into the chassis rail; this will require the bumper/bull bar to be removed on some models. Check your chassis before fitment.
3. Ensure three bolts per tow point are fitted and torqued to the recommended settings to ensure two points meet tested standards

Fitted to 80” & 105” Toyota Land Cruisers

• 105” Landcruiser requires 4 x M12x1.25 bolts
• 100” Landcruiser requires 4 x M14x1.5 bolts
• 80” Landcruiser requires 4 x M12x1.25 bolts

1. All models have nuts retained in the chassis, ready for fitment. Two bolts per side as supplied; can be mounted to the front or rear of the vehicle.
2.  Ensure two bolts per tow point are fitted and torqued to the recommended settings to ensure two points meet tested standards.

Fitted to D40 Navara

1. Fitted to factory-retained nuts on the L/H side.
2. M12x1.25 high-tensile bolts and retained nuts were supplied for the R/H side.
3. Ensure two bolts per tow point are fitted and torqued to recommended settings to ensure tow points meet tested standards.
4. Two bolts per side as supplied; can be mounted to the front or rear of the vehicle.

Bolt Torque Specs

Ensure all supplied and specified components are used during the installation of tow points. Failure to do so will significantly reduce the Working Load Limit (WLL) specified for each individual point, which can result in serious injury or death.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Always use tow points as a matched pair teamed with an equalizing bridle during any recovery situation
