Product Information

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the luminaire is installed and operated in compliance with national safety regulations.
  2. Contact a qualified electrician for the installation and commissioning of the luminaire.
  3. Do not make any modifications to the luminaire without proper authorization and expertise.
  4. If additional protection against overvoltage events is desired, consider using separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.
  5. Refer to the product specifications for the connected wattage and temperature requirements.
  6. Make sure the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C during operation.
  7. Use the specified LED module (LED-0689/930) with a colour temperature of 3000 K and a CRI greater than 90.
  8. Note that the module luminous flux is 775 lm and the luminaire luminous flux is 316 lm.
  9. Keep in mind that the luminaire has a luminous efficiency of 52.7 lm/W.
  10. For any spare parts, refer to the provided codes: Shield (42 000 202 .1L), LED power supply unit (DEV-0303/350), and LED module 3000 K (LED-0689/930).

Installation

  • LED are high-quality electronic components!
  • Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
  • Pull off LED cover from mounting plate.
  • Pass the power connecting cable through the cable entry in the mounting plate.
  • Fasten the mounting plate with the supplied fastening material or other suitable fastening material to the installation surface.
  • Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection to the terminals.
  • Clip LED cover onto mounting plate.
  • Pass the enclosed housing shield over the LED cover until the housing shield latches in place audibly.

Cleaning · Maintenance

Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.

Replacement of the LED module

  • The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
  • The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
  • Disconnect the system.
  • Pull housing shield off the mounting plate.
  • Open the luminaire.
  • Please follow the installation instructions for the
  • LED module. Close the luminaire.
  • Pass the housing shield with its inner groove to the front over the LED cover until the housing shield latches in place audibly
