SLV 1000339 Ceiling Light
Product Information
This product is a ceiling light with model number 1000339. It is rated IP44
for outdoor use and has a maximum diameter of 7.5cm. It requires an approved
electrician for installation and should only be installed in accordance with
local and national regulations. The product should be operated with intact
protection glass and should be taken out of service when suspecting a defect
or malfunction.
The product uses GX53 light sources with a maximum wattage of 11W.
Product Usage Instructions
Safety Advices:
- Read the manual carefully and keep it for further use.
- Any works on the electrical connection should only be done by an approved electrician.
- Do not alter or modify the product, fasten anything on it, or cover it.
- Operate the product only with intact protection glass.
- Take measures to ensure that children are not harmed by the product.
Lamp Replacement:
- Disconnect the luminaire from mains and let it cool down.
- Use only suitable light sources with a maximum wattage of 11W.
- Clean the gasket if it becomes dirty.
Care and Storage:
- Disconnect the product from mains and let it cool down before cleaning.
- Clean external surfaces regularly with a slightly moistened (water) cloth. Do not clean with a pressure washer.
- Keep openings for aeration or drainage free.
- Avoid exposing the product to acidic surroundings, high salt content in the air, cleaning agents, fertilizer, thawing salt, or chemicals.
- Store the product in a dry and clean place.
Installation
- Switch off mains/fixed connection cable.
- Use only described accessories and suitable fastening materials.
- Install according to declared IP type and as shown in the figure.
- Direct the fixed wiring with its complete insulation at least 15mm into the housing.
- Equip flexible wire ends with suitable wire ferrules.
- Check for secure fixation and proper function.

The installation requires expert knowledge and may be carried out only by an approved electrician under consideration of local and national regulations!
Disposal (European Union)
Do not dispose the product with the regular household waste! Products marked
with this sign must be disposed according to the directive (WEEE) on
electrical and electronic devices at local collection points for such devices!
Waste batteries and accumulators, which are not enclosed by the waste
equipment, and lamps, which are removable nondestructive from the waste
equipment are to be separated nondestructive from the waste equipment before
turning to a local collection point.
Distributors are, according to particular legislation, obligated to take back
waste equipment from the final holder.
It lies in the personal responsibility of the final holder to delete personal
data before the disposal.

Use as directed
- Safety class I (1) – Connection with protective conductor.
- Operate only firmly fixed on an even surface.
- Operate only on normal or not inflammable surfaces.
- Do not strain mechanically or expose to strong dirt contamination.
- IP44: Protection against foreign objects > Ø 1,0mm – Protection against splashing water from all directions.
