SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not place the product on a hot surface.
- Do not put the product where it is very humid.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged.
- The product is only intended for indoor use.
- Read all the enclosed instructions, safety instructions and warning labels on the product before using it.
- Handle the product with care. The product gets very hot when in use, which can result in a risk of fire or explosion.
- Do not use the product near flammable liquids or gas, or where there is a risk of explosion.
- Do not press the power switch after the product has switched off automatically. This can damage the battery.
- Do not point the beam at people or animals and do not look directly into the beam, not even from a distance.
- Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not cover the lamp housing when the product is switched on. The lamp housing gets hot when in use and can cause burn injuries.
- Do not use the product in traffic. The product is a work light and is not approved for road traffic.
- Remove the battery before working on the product (e.g. mounting or maintenance) and before transport or storage.
- Do not allow children to use the product. The product is intended for professional users. Children can by mistake blind themselves, or others.
- Protect the battery from heat, direct sunlight, fire and moisture, otherwise it could explode.
- When the battery is not in use keep it away from metal objects such as paper-clips, coins, keys, nails, screws and other small metal objects that can short circuit the terminals. Short circuiting discharges large amounts of energy that can cause a fire and/or burn injuries.
- Failure to handle the battery carefully can cause fluid to leak from the battery. Avoid contact with battery fluid. On contact with battery fluid, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water. Seek medical attention if you get battery fluid in your eyes. Battery fluid can cause skin irritation and/or burns.
- If the battery is damaged or used incorrectly it can emit gas. Ventilate the area and seek medical attention if you experience discomfort. Gas can irritate the respiratory organs.
- Only charge the battery with the charger recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other chargers can result in a risk of personal injury and/or fire.
- Only use the battery in your Meec product. Otherwise the battery can be overloaded.
- Never attempt to open the battery. Keep the battery away from sharp objects and metal objects, and do not subject it to knocks or blows – risk of short-circuiting, fire, explosion and/or personal injury.

DESCRIPTION
Compact and cordless work lamp from the Meec Tools Multiseries 12 V – a series of cordless tools especially developed to suit smaller and more simple home projects. Thanks to the Meec 12 V all-battery system, all tools in the series can be run with the same battery. The work lamp has a hanger hook, magnets for attachment on magnetic material and two different light sources. Battery and battery charger sold separately.

INSTALLATION
CHARGING THE BATTERY (SOLD SEPARATELY)
NOTE:
The battery is only partially charged on delivery. For the battery to
achieve full capacity it must be fully charged in the battery charger before
using the product for the first time.
- Lithium-ion batteries can be charged at any time without affecting their lifespan. Interrupting the charging will not damage the battery.
- The lithium-ion battery is protected from over-discharging by an ECP function. The product is switched off by a protective circuit when the battery is discharged.
Do not press the power switch after the product has switched off
automatically. This can damage the battery.
Remove the battery (3) by pressing the battery lock button (4) and pulling the
battery out backwards. Do not force.
USE
BEFORE USE
Inserting the battery
Insert the charged battery (3) in the handle until it fits in place and is
flush with the handle.
SWITCHING ON/OFF
The light from the product comes from lamp housing 1.
Press the power switch (2) to switch on the product.
Press the power switch (2) again to switch off the product.
To save energy, only switch on the product when it is to be used.
MAINTENANCE
- Contact the retailer when the battery is spent.
- The product is maintenance-free and does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user.
- The light source cannot be replaced. The whole product must be replaced if the light source stops working.
- Only clean the plastic lens with a dry, soft and clean cloth to avoid scratching. Do not use strong detergent or solvent.
