Safety instructions
- Suitable material: air
- Inlet temperature 40 degrees Celsius, outlet temperature less than 180 degrees Celsius.
- The recommended filter change frequency is 250 hours, depending on the quality and quantity of the filter.
- Pressure limit 0.1 Mpa, lubrication system temperature less than 70.
- CAUTION: Incorrect oil content during cold start , clogged oil filter or valve malfunction can cause oil shortage.
- CAUTION: Hot surfaces.
- Requirements for valve maintenance and testing
- Release valve: When the inside of the valve loses control and when the pressure is above the valve, the release valve will open automatically to protect the machine.
- Safety valve: When the pressure regulator loses its effectiveness, the pressure in the tank will be 1.1 times the indicated pressure, the safety valve will open automatically to protect the machine.
- NOTE: Both of the above valves are strict safety settings and any alteration to these settings is strictly forbidden. CAUTION: Use only connections and hoses that are suitable for use with air compressors.
- Suggestion: For pressures above 7 Bar , the supply hoses should be fitted with a safety clamp, e.g. not wire rope.
- Deviation from an horizontal position is prohibited.
Before transporting the air compressor
- Lift the base.
- Confirm that the linkage is securely fastened.
- Confirm that a safety harness is fitted in order to stop the machine if necessary.
- Confirm that the cables are correctly connected.
- Ensure that the brake is not engaged, where fitted.
- Carry out proper cleaning of connected hoses and equipment.
- If the brake is not activated, place plugs in front of the wheels.
The following brief repair instructions describe the method of working during repair/service. Repair/service should only be performed by an authorized service center.
Repair/service instructions
- The use of the spare parts list is important.
- Follow the schedule for inspection and replacement of consumable parts.
- The procedure should always be carried out by authorized technical personnel.
- Always use the spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. Contact your supplier for details if necessary.
- Always take appropriate safety measures during repair and maintenance.
Before repairing and maintaining the machine, follow the following precautions for your own safety.
- Unplug the machine from the power outlet.
- Take protective measures in case of false start.
- Check and assess the general condition of the machine.
- Take precautions in case the machine should be operated at some stage of maintenance or repair.
- The machine should not be used in an area with flammable materials that may cause an explosion.
Operating temperature: 0o to 40o C / Storage temperature: 40o C to 70o C.

In case of emergency, turn off the power.
Preparation and start-up
- The area where the air compressor will be installed should be clean, dry and well ventilated.
- Use current with the correct voltage, deviation ±5%.
- Keep the oil level at the red indicator.
- Recommended oil for the compressor is SAE30 or L-DAB100 when the temperature is above 10o C and SAE10 or L-DAB68 when the temperature is below 10 0C.
- Open the exhaust valve, place the pressure switch in the ON position. Allow the air compressor to run for 10 minutes without load to confirm lubrication on moving parts.
- heck the belt tension: it is correct when you can push the belt with your finger 10-15mm downwards, in the centre of the belt.
- Select the correct power supply according to the information on the motor nameplate.
Operation and adjustment
The compressor is controlled by the pushbutton when it is operating normally. It can stop automatically when the pressure rises to the maximum and start when the pressure drops to the minimum. The pressure value is set at the factory. Do not change it. Once the engine is turned off the compressed air in the exhaust pipe should be released through the release valve under the switch. It is a necessary point for starting or the motor may be damaged. The pressure value can be adjusted by turning the adjusting screw on the switch (figure 1 or figure 2).
ATTENTION
- Do not unscrew any part of the connection when the container is under pressure.
- Do not dismantle any electrical part before unplugging.
- Do not adjust the valve without care.
- Do not use the machine where the voltage is too low or too high.
- Do not use the metal part or electric cable smaller than 4mm2 and more than 5m long.
- Do not unplug the socket to stop the machine. Set the switch to the Off position.
- If release valve does not operate as the motor stops find the cause immediately to prevent damage to the motor.
- The lubricating oil should be clean. The level should be at the red point.
- Unplug the cord when you finish using it.
- Τhe safety valve and parameters have been set according to the working conditions, do not change them.
Maintenance
In terms of maintenance, the following are recommended:
- Clean the box and change the lubricating oil after the first 20 hours of operation.
- Check the oil level every 20 hours of operation and top up if necessary.
- Open the drain plug under the reservoir every 60 hours of operation.
- Clean the box, change the oil, clean the air filter and check the safety valve and pressure indicator after 120 hours of operation.
