Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Install the Document Tray Connector

document tray connector.

Step 1
Install the Document Tray Connector
· In the orientation shown here, slide the Document Tray Connector (#C) onto the Column (#B) from the base and position it approximately halfway up the column. Tighten the bolts on the side of the connector to secure it in place.

Step 2a-3 Location and Use Options
A. Positioning and Use
· The stand may be placed directly on the floor for use or can be secured following the instructions in the next steps.

Step 2a-1
Standing Base Option
· Peel the backing off the Rubber Pads (#E) and place them near each corner of the Standing Base (#F). Place the pads on the bottom side which has the recessed indentations.
Step 2a-2
Attach the Base
· Attach the Column (#B) to the Standing Base (#F) through the Base Connector (#D) using Bolts (#M) as shown.

B. Wood Surface Installation
· To secure the stand base to a wood surface use a 3/16″ bit and drill holes to a depth of 2.2″ and secure the stand base using 2x Lag Screws (#H). Do not over tighten. Note: Ensure the mounting surface is thick enough to accommodate the length of the Lag Screws.

C. Concrete Surface Installation
· To secure the stand base to a concrete surface, use a 3/8″ Bit and drill holes to a depth of 2.4″. Clear any dust and debris from the holes and insert 2x Concrete Anchors (#I). Secure the stand base using 2x Lag Screws (#H). Do not over tighten. Note: Ensure the mounting surface is thick enough to accommodate the length of the Lag Screws.

A. Wood Surface Installation
· To secure the stand base to a wood surface, use a 3/16″ bit and drill holes to a depth of 2.2″ and secure the stand base using 4x Lag Screws (#H). Do not over tighten. Note: Ensure the mounting surface is thick enough to accommodate the length of the Lag Screws.

Step 2b-1
Low Profile Base Option
· Attach the Column (#B) to the Low Profile Base (#N) through the Base Connector (#D) using Bolts (#M) as shown.

B. Concrete Surface Installation
· To secure the stand base to a concrete surface, use a 3/8″ Bit and drill holes to a depth of 2.4″. Clear any dust and debris from the holes and insert 4x Concrete Anchors (#I). Secure the stand base using 4x Lag Screws (#H). Do not over tighten. Note: Ensure the mounting surface is thick enough to accommodate the length of the Lag Screws.

Step 3
Open the Tablet Case
· To open the Tablet Case (#A) insert the Key (#J) and turn counterclockwise to unlock(clockwise to lock.)

Step 4
Attach the Tablet Case to the Column
· Attach the back half of the Tablet Case to the end of the column using Bolts (#L) through the 4 bolt holes on the interior of the Case in the orientation shown here.

Note: Remove the front cover from the tablet case

· Optionally the tablet enclosure can be attached to a 75x75mm VESA mount. Attach the back half of the Tablet Case to the VESA mount using Bolts (#Q), Washers (#O), and secured on the opposite end by Nuts (#P).

Step 5
Select the Tablet Adapter
· Select the Tablet Adapter (#U1, U2, U3) for your tablet (see the table below for compatibility) and attach it over the tablet inside the case using the 4 Bolts (#R). Before fully tightening the bolts, center the tablet in the adapter if needed by squeezing the tabs on the clamps and adjusting them left or right.

Step 6
Lock the Case
· Insert the key into the lock and turn the key clockwise to lock the case

Insert the Tablet
· Select the appropriate Tablet Adapter for your tablet by referencing the compatibility guide below.

U1: No home button access iPad Pro (10.5″), iPad Air (10.5″), iPad 9(10.2″), iPad 8(10.2″), iPad 7(10.2″)

· Tablet Adapter (#U2) can be used with the preinstalled soft button cover to allow for the tablet home button to be pressed, or it may be removed and replaced with the hard Button Cover (#Y) which will prevent the tablet home button from being pressed.

Step 7
Attach the Document Tray
· Attach the Document Tray (#G) using Bolts (#K) through the two center holes.

Step 8
Viewing Angle Adjustment
· If the use of the tablet camera is required, ensure the camera is visible through the hole on the rear of the case. · Adjust the viewing angle of the tablet by loosening the bolt shown here behind the tablet case using Hex Wrench (#W). Tilt the tablet to the desired viewing angle then tighten the bolt back down.

Step 9
Final Adjustments
· The tablet case can be rotated 90 degrees to alternate between landscape and portrait orientation and can be tilted up to 75 degrees forward for a variety of viewing angles.

Optional Wall Mount Instructions
A. Concrete/Stone Installation Option ­ 4 Screws
· Using a bubble level to ensure a straight installation, hold the anti-theft case against the wall in the desired location and use a pencil to mark the wall through the 4 bolt holes in the case. Note: This may also be rotated 90° to install in landscape orientation. · Remove the case from the wall and drill holes in the marked locations using a ¼” (6mm) drill bit to a depth of 1.3″ (35mm). Insert Concrete Anchors (#T) into the holes. · Attach the tablet case to the wall using Lag Screws (#S) and tighten until secure. Do not over tighten. Note: For a 2 screw installation option, follow the next step using a ¼” drill bit and 1.3″ drill depth, and the use of concrete anchors (#T).

B. Wood Stud Installation Option ­ 2 Screws
· Using a bubble level to ensure a straight installation, hold the anti-theft case against the wall in the desired location and use a pencil to mark the wall through the teardrop shaped bolt hole indicated here, and mark the middle of the horizontal slot below. · Remove the case from the wall and drill holes in the marked locations using a 7/50″ (3.5mm) drill bit to a depth of 1.2″ (30mm). · Install Lag Screw (#S) to the top hole only leaving a gap of approximately ¼” between the wall and the bottom of the screw head. · Hang the case onto the partially installed screw through the teardrop shaped hole. Slide the case down so that the screw is in the smaller end of the hole, check the level of the case again and install the lower lag screw. Note: This installation option is compatible with concrete/stone surfaces using the same process but with a¼” drill bit and 1.3″ drill depth.
