BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Please read these important safety tips.

1. Never mix pool chemicals.
2. Chemical spills can damage
3. Set up TREAT outdoors only, on a hard surface that can be easily and quickly hosed down.

Remove WaterGuru TREAT from the box and open the TREAT Lid

• Remove the TREAT from the box and place it on a flat surface.
• Press in the tab on the top back of the TREAT to release the top lid.
• Lift and remove the lid.

Remove the TREAT housing

• Unscrew the Drop pH tube from the lid and set the lid aside.
• Lift the embedded C-shaped handle to its fully opened position.
• Move the two J-shaped housing locks to the inner unlocked position.
• Pull straight up to remove the Outer Housing.

Add the TREAT Batteries

• Open the Battery Compartment Latch.
• Insert new batteries maintaining + or – polarity orientation. If the battery polarity is not correct, the device will not power on.
• Close the Battery Compartment Latch firmly.

Add the TREAT Cassette

• Open the Cassette Latch.
• Replace/insert a new Cassette in the same orientation.
• Close the Cassette Latch firmly.

Download the App and create an Account

• Launch Google Play or Apple App Store.
• Download and install the WaterGuru App.
• Create a WaterGuru account.

Activate WaterGuru TREAT

Follow the in-app instructions to activate TREAT, add your pool, and pair WaterGuru TREAT with your Wi-Fi network.

Add WaterGuru Cal Hypo (Chlorinator Granular)

• Flip open the Cal Hypo Tank Door.
• Cut just the corner of the Cal Hypo bag to open.
• Insert the edge of the bag into the Cal Hypo Tank, and let the Powder flow into the Tank.
• Fill the Cal Hypo up to the bottom of the Black Mark on the Auger Shaft.
• After filling the tank, press and firmly close the Cal Hypo Door.

Add WaterGuru Drop pH (Acid)

• Keep the Acid Fill Tube up straight.
• Open the 1 Gallon Drop pH Acid bottle. Remove the seal from the bottle cleanly to avoid leaks.
•  Securely screw the top of the WaterGuru TREAT Acid Fill tube to the top of the Acid bottle.
• Ensure that the WaterGuru TREAT Acid Fill tube is attached securely to the Acid bottle.
• Lift up the Acid bottle and hold it up to fill.
• Once the bottle is emptied, put the acid bottle down, make sure no Acid Liquid is inside the Acid Fill Tube.
• Unscrew the acid bottle from the WaterGuru TREAT Acid fill tube.
• Replace the Acid fill tube upright in the WaterGuru TREAT.
• Screw the Acid Fill Tube on to the lid. Make sure it is screwed tightly and securely.

Replace the TREAT Housing

• Install the outer housing, carefully watch the orientation so the housing latches are both aligned.
• Move the two J-shaped housing latches to the outer locked position.

Place on Skimmer and Install the Lid

• Remove existing skimmer cover.
• Using the handle, lift and place the TREAT centered over the skimmer opening.
• Push the C-shaped handle down to its closed position.
• Install the Lid, inserting the lower end first and then the higher end.
